Snow Eliminators--review time!!

Who has got snow eliminators and gotten to ride with them?

What is your experiance with them? How do you like them?

I put some on my RT and after just one ride, I love them. Why don't the manufacturers do something like this?? They have gotten better on running board design, but no where close to these. And the boards are stronger.

What are your pro's and/or con's??

i got them on my m7 and love em, i think everybody should get them.
its like the ultimate pet peeve of mine, trying to kick the snow off of the boards.

snow eliminators

I had them the alum. ones on my 05 king cat I got tipped off the sled on a pretty steep hill at turn out. I was able to grab the running boards and bulldog it down instead of losing it into the trees at the bottom.
tech tip:fat boys make good brakes!

I have the plastic ones from fast lane on the M8 and I like them alot better as snow just does'nt stay on them... ever
needless to say I like them alot and will not-not have them on my sled

Put a set on my Wifes 04 Rev(they really suck), might replace the ones on my 06 after just a ride down the street. Looks like they will be nice. Jury is out till I get to the deep stuff.

I agree with H20SKE, manufacturers need to pay a bit more attention here.

Put em on my 04 Edge and rode Cooke this weekend....between the heated coolant running along the boards and eliminators they they stayed very clear all day. I would recommend them to anyone thinking about them.

Had them on my 05 m7 and loved them. I did end up breaking a couple of the rungs when I hit a stump though. A quick couple of welds and they were as good as new.

I haven't got to ride the new m1000 yet but Cat really opened up the running boards so we'll see

I fabbed up a set

They better work!

I've had Snow Eliminators for a few years now on my M7 with no problems. They work great.

Sno Eliminators

Have them on M1000 worked so well put a set on my wifes M7. Never have a sled without them on. 1000 has Sno Eliminators and the M7 has Cutlers both work great.

I put them on my 900 dragon and they are fantastic. No more kicking snow, better traction and the running boards are stiffer.:)

love my no-sno's, they are awesome! man you think someone would have thought these things up about 20 years ago...

They opened them up--but nowhere near as good as these eliminators do--I had the 05/06 Doo boards and they are opened up pretty good--but after riding with snow eliminators--not even CLOSE.

I agree with ya all--Best money spent on mod's ever!!

i just took a cutting wheel and chopped 1" by 2ish" rectangles in my boards in my 01 mt cat. i even but a nice lip on em for traction... but i did screw up and put the lip on the front instead of the back, which i didnt wanna do! and so instead of a big caked running board i have clean running boards with like 5 smalls icy spots where the snow packs up behind the lip lol, dumba$$!!! but i will buy snow eliminators here sooon, i just figured id save the 150 and do it myself, what di i have to lose, if they break i buy some, if they dont i save... but im sure ill break thru mine!
