Well I sent up a couple of my employees today to break in (and hopefully not break) a couple of our 800's and to check the current snow conditions so we could have a better grasp on directing our renters. I am happy to report overall better than expected conditions with some great over the hood pow! They said there still isn't a solid base yet and were sinking in pretty deep and tapping the track on an occasional rock /stump so there is still a need to be mindful and careful. So pick your off trail stashes well. Tomorrow we are supposed to see another 10-20" which should help tremendously. Hope this helps y'all!:face-icon-small-coo

Sounds about right for conditions after the first few snows. The Uintas rarely get a base until February anyway. Looks like its shaping up to be some good almost worry free riding by christmas!!

I was up there today too. Still no base and you would still dig to the ground if going up a steep hill. We played in lots of meadows though with only a few bumps here and there. No pics though. It's freaking cold.

Rode out of lake creek today, there are places it is DEEP !!! like 40 inches with 0 base. Lots of land mines !!! be careful out there!

I took Monday off, Dec 9, and rode to the top of Bountiful. Snotel was reporting 42 inches. We had the same experience. Snow over the hood in the medows where the wind doesn't blow. Ridges had 10 inches of snow with rocks showing. You don't want to do much climbing because the track is digging down to dirt. No base snow and no snow in the seven day forecast. We all need to start snow dancing to the snow Gods of the North and West. Let's all get on track for a dance Saturday Night.

Thanks! As mentioned, they are Freestyle's, but only one is a 300F Fan cooled (for my 8 year old.) The other is a 550F Fan cooled with wider A-arms and deeper lug track (for my 10 year old.) They both have reverse, electric start, and hydraulic brakes (a must for the little ones.) Awesome little sleds if you can find them. They usually carry a premium since Ski-Doo doesn't make them anymore. I do see them on KSL from time to time.
