Sneak Peak: 2016 Skidoo!

Hey hey hey Polzin, stay on track, can't you see this is a Doo bashing thread. You can't go showing pictures of a looong Pooooooooooooooo, Poo guys are easily offended if you mess with the whole "Terrain Domination" thing. Stay focused, and bash Doo for being progressive and making changes! :face-icon-small-con

remember this ? 201.6" ridiculous !

Think the guys that mounted a 174" 10 years ago were "progressive" the pro above has "progressed" beyond that. Ski Doo is behind as usual but in Canada they might "progress" with all this reverse engineering..

Something tells me if it was Polaris that came out with a factory 174", the forum would be overrun with "OMG POLARIS GIVES THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT!!!! SUCK ON IT ALL YOU DOO AND CAT GUYS!!! THE BEST JUST GOT BETTER!!!!"

I told you they were sensitive, must have struck a nerve, see what you've done.
By "progressive" I didn't say they invented the 174", it's that they offered it as a factory option, now that's "progress." Talk about reverse engineering, how's that drive shaft collar working for ya'?

Just because you Poo guys don't have the power turn that track don't be Hate'n!:face-icon-small-ton

I am not a Poo guy, I am die hard Ski Doo and on the X Team. I just think it's sad how many people need a sled like this to ride. What happened to learning to ride better. I rode my 128 600 RS with a group of 154 and 163, went everywhere they did. I let one guy ride mine, it only took him 100 yards to get stuck and admit he needed his long track 800. I guess most people don't wont the challenge.

I personally dont agree with you. I think a 240" track is the way to go, especially in the trees, and your buddies should probably stay away from the mtns if your keeping up with a 128, even tho im sure you're a super siccckkk rider and all :face-icon-small-win

No nuns for me but if you happen to bend yours I will be happy to lend you my wife's hot glue gun so you can put it back together.

Who says with a 174 riding will be no challenge? My last sled was a 174 and riding a sled that length poses some different kind of challenges. The 174 means you will have to go to stupider spots to challenge yourself that's all.

Not one to support all the squabbling, but that right there is FUNNY...! :D

Just for the record I own a Pro and an XM

Now that's really funny..

I agree, however this is what financially fuels all industries, the misconception that the problem is the product, and not the rider. Facts are facts, you put a talent rider on any sled and he will kill it.

Not to say that this 174 isn't totally awesome, Im sure its an awesome ride, just more than you'd need in 90% of cases around here.

What almost everyone said about the Summit Highmark 151 when it came out in 2000. LOL

PROGRESSIVE

I've ridden them all... And owned me all except late model yamahahahahs. (Who'd buy one of those, unless all you do is ride up shoots all day?)

136 used to be a long track. Some "dummies used to push them to 141, 144, and finally, a guy pushed his '99 700 Polaris to a 151. Everyone thought this "idiot" wouldn't have the horsepower to move that track.

Engine displacement is one thing, weight is another. All the 900s and 1000s are extinct. 800 cc seems to be the answer for all Polarasses, Catastrophes, and Doggie-DooDoos.

Now that DooDoos have a 174 factory track, it'll be only one year before the rest of them catch up. Rocky Mountain riding demands it. Look at the difference between a 154 or 155 and a 163! Yup, only 5 more in he's touching the snow, but the climbing improvement is immeasurable. SIGNIFICANT!

Bottom line is that a Doo-Doo is simply an easier machine to ride. It's a couch. Higher big marks, easier in the trees, move forgiving, easier to make delayed decisions, and now that they have a 174 ( not for lake riding, losers!), it'll be the most popular machine on ANY mountain, as long as you can afford the new $17,500 price tag... Hey: That's $100 per inch!

Or do we actually want to buy a machine that MAKES us work harder and get stuck all the time?
