Small slide buries a sledder

Thats some crazy S***, and some serious luck!!! think I am going to just stay on the trails with Tudizzle and Backcountry!!

Rule #1 Dont fall off the sled!

I think I would be a little pissed at my riding buddy for cutting a line at the top of the hill while i was walking down it to get back to my sled! (Then again if he hadnt fallen off his sled he would have been fine too! Im glad they are both ok! It was bad yesterday I had a couple little slides I was able to ride away from.

We rode in there about 30 min before those guys (OP vid). Can't believe that hill went!!! We were checking it out on the way back. To think I almost hit that hill on the way in. Luckily I thought of hitting rocks so I stayed off of it. Glad all are okay!

Props to the quick thinking rider in the 1st video. Pretty lucky it wasn't the last guy in line or probably could have had a bad ending.

Second vid is plain stupid riding. I don't care how big the hill is. I've almost passed out from being so red-faced chewing some guys azz out for doing that exact thing to me. I don't get pissed very easily until you put my life in danger. Friend or not, I would be having a serious 'chat' with that guy. Glad they both made it out ok. Some people won't get the opportunity to look back at the situation. This year especially is not the year to be taking any chances.

The guy on the white sled in the 2nd vid is a instant candidate for an "on the spot" castration.

777 needs to find some better people to ride with, or get these dumbazzes some education.

Makes me sick watching that.

Rode up to gravel on sat & saw a guy stuck right below the cornice. His buddies proceeded to all go & stop RIGHT under him on the upper bench, then take their helmets off & watch him. I swung by there & QUICKLY mentioned that MAYBE that wasn't the best place to be hanging out... and MAYBE that wasn't the best place to be highmarking this weekend? (just maybe) They were pretty receptive & got the point quickly. (and I got the HE!! out of there ASAP!!)

The thing that struck me was in the 2nd video, 2 guys were there digging and asking for a shovel.

First Video. Thats just crazy! shows it can happen anywhere!

Second Video Just stupid!!!! Idiots!!!! obviously they have never been to a class before or listened to anyone talk about mountain riding before. Why would you ever go up on the hill when someone is walking down the hill after falling off there sled? Never ride with that idiot again!!

I saw a slide like that on the side of the highway on Monday. It sure made me chose my spost very wisely yesterday after more wind and snow .

Be careful out there !
