SLP stage 2 looking for reviews

Looking to go with slp stage 2 on my axys and just curious how much of a difference it makes? Anyone with reviews would be much appreciated. Thanks

I absolutely love my SLP set up. Only have 100 miles or so on it now. Compared to another stock axys its a pretty big difference. Well worth the $. I had a SLP stage 2 kit on my 13 pro and I loved it as well.

I've had it for around 300 miles on my Axys. It really is the package to have although I haven't had a Bikeman or other setup. The weight savings are good and it has a nice medium raspy sound. Not the obnoxious sound of some cans. The biggest problem I have had is getting the clutching spot on. This sled pulls so much more than the Pro that it has been a little trial and error. Really pulls hard on top. I've thought about the head too but only if I don't need fuel adjustment through map or controller or any av/race fuel. I'm above 10k.

Very noticeable top end power. You do loose a little bottom snap... could be from my heavier weights. Went from 64 to 68 polaris weights & changed spring to polaris blue/pink stripe.
Holding 8400 on long climb with heavy snow.
Just the weight savings alone convinced me to go for it..... but the extra power really wakes this sled up.

What elevation are you using 68s at?

At your altitude you can easily run the heads with no controller or special fuel.
The head will give you a little strong bottom and mid. It is noticeable in the creeks and pulling up and out of tight trees. I have the stage 3 and buddy has stage 2. You can feel the extra from the heads through about 3/4 throttle.

For the original poster: I am not sure how anybody who owns an axys doesnt put an SLP pipe on it. Stock axys runs really good. The pipe and clutching take it to another level. Not to mention losing like 15lbs. So go ahead and get one, your only regret will be not getting it sooner!

We got our stage 2 axys' out today for the first ride. As stated earlier, the weight savings alone is worth it. Just carrying the stock takeoff stuff out to the garage was a workout . Man that can is heavy. Can't speak to the performance end of it as we had the dealership put them on during setup. I have to say, I kind of miss the throaty sound of the hps, but it is nice to have it a little quieter.

The SLP pipe works great, I am pulling 64s at 8400RPM at 7-9k.

Loving my SLP pipe and can!

155 2.6". 68grm polaris weights blue/pink spring.

Pulls 8350 all day between 4000'-7000'

Weight savings with just a can is almost the same. Clutching at 8-10' is 64gr and hitting 8300 all day long. (3" x 163) Can anyone give me honest unbiased info on the spl pipe being a solid improvement over stock with a can? Lw Can $230. Pipe is $600.

When I put the SLP pipe on I immediately gained 150-200 RPM without any clutching changes. So it does make more power. Been very happy with the performance so far. That being said, I have a Bikeman pipe on order that will be here Monday (some of us just like to tinker) and we will see if it pulls more clutch weight than the SLP. If it does, I will have a used SLP pipe for sale.

Let me know when you want to sell the slp pipe. I'd also be interested in the bikeman pipe if you decide to keep the slp. PM me when you decide to sell.
