The pipe works well by its self to i would save your money on the intake it dosent make any diffrence that i can see and it makes it supper to suck debrie in the motor. I would no get the reeds either they dont make enough diffrence to justify the price.

Black Diamond Extreme does make a helix made just for the SLP pipe, y-pipe, can kit. I have only seen it through western power sports but im sure you can get it else where. Just throwing that out there

I am looking at getting a 07 m1000. I currently have an 04 Mountain Cat 900efi 151. Pretty much stock(slp can, vforce reeds) and love the reliability, but I'm looking to get into the new chasis.
this m1000 i am looking at has the slp y-pipe, silencer, and pipe, and a boondocker on it currently. Is this set up going to be something i need to be constantly tuning? What about reliability? I am looking for something low maintenance and easy to use. I don't have much experience in tuning. I get one weeklong trip a year to Cooke, and I want to be able to ride the whole time. I would love to hear any and all suggestions.

That's on the m1000 if you have the m8 it's a different story the pipe makes a huge difference, slp has different rating's for all sleds, polaris ,A/C,doo, check your make and model...
I love my SLP single pipe kit on my M8!
In fact, If anyone needs one, I have a BDX 42/36 helix that SLP recommends for use with their SLP single pipe kit I will be selling because I went ahead and bought the SLP complete Performance Edition Kit which requires a 44/36 or 45/36 helix (which I still need to buy).
