9R low elevation clutching

Have a Khaos 9R 155 2.75 with stock high elevation clutching. Just moved to sea level (AK) and will be riding 0-3000’ mainly, and very rarely above 6000’. Im debating between aftermarket or stock low elevation clutching. Any recommendations and experiences with aftermarket clutch kits at low elevation? Is stock low elevation setup pretty good?

CNS clutching kit is good. Stock is ok but there are improvements to be had with a kit. I also like the SLP kit as well. I’m currently running that with their twin pipe kit and really like it.

Im running stock low elevation also. Seems to be ok, but hits 8500 rpms at times.

Can you tell me what you like about CNS clutch kit? What is better about it?

Also, did you see large gains from the twin pipes? How hard where they to tune? And what gas do you run at these elevations? Thanks

The CNS gives better throttle response, it held rpm better and back shifted well. I ran it for a while before going to the slp twins. My only gripe is that you can’t adjust the weight without pulling them. But thankfully it didn’t need to be adjusted.

And ya the twins give a noticeable power bump. The tuning it comes with is spot on, just make sure you’re in the non ethanol mode otherwise it will be a bit fat down low.
And I run 90 with a shot of octane boost per their recommendation. Overall I love the twins, the sound they make is amazing and they love to rev. The fit is good but man you better hear tape the heck out of the fuse box and ev servo. I had to make a heat shield for the fuse box despite the heat tape. But so far so good on them. I have about 300 miles on them so far. I haven’t ran the head yet but plan to this year.
