I would assume mostly high altitude guys perhaps?? Just curious as to who has used them and for what reasons. My guess is these create slightly more spring tension. I am running a black/purple secondary spring at 9000-11000ft.

Any experiences??

Yes I am running 1 package of delrin washers,
1 on each side of spring 1 under cup. and then the shim.
it added about 500 rpm,and back shifts harder.
running 60.5 grams
holds rpm @ 9000-12000ft
Pulled both stock 163 and 155 by one to two sled lengths.
And seemed much more responsive through out.
good luck Mike

The TEAM shim has the affect of shortening up the initial angle of the helix. So it takes .06" off the initial angle length... so a 58/36 .46 becomes a 58/36 .40.

I use it on those .46 helixes above 8000 feet and it helps with some belt heat when using a steep first angle like the 60/40 helix or the likes.
