Slide Kicks, Anyone tried them?

Have them on 2 sleds with eyelts for non use. Work good, but less snow on rail than spring units I have.

We run them down a lot & will be using locktite to keep ends from vibrating loose and turning! We lost one end this winter.

Haven't bent these backing up!!
No track or rail issues, but have kept an eye on them. At slow speeds not as much snow on track, better over 35mph! My wife likes 25-35mph??
Will buy a set for another sled when I need them!

25-35 mph, Sounds like your wife and mine should ride togather :D:D

Over 35 mph??? Looks like I better put these on my 06 Rev, and get the wife a set of the steel spring ones. Thanks for the report. :)

i will say that there customer service is second to none, i got the first style they came out with and they had some issues, beating up my rails and my sled ran hot, but they sent me a second updated set that looked identical but had a bend in the cable. this set worked better but last week the trails were hard but not icy and my sled did good the first day but the second day it started to run hot again and all the clear coating is coming off again.

is the colored coating better then the clear one i have now?

Locktite isn't necessary but I would recommend it. They are working on the carbide tips as we speak. I don't think they are needed unless you ride on excessive ice. I'm a dealer, so feel free to ask any questions.

mine did not have locktite and the right side fell off while riding somewhere, not having a teflon nut is silly, i should known better and used a teflon nut of my own:mad:

Yes you should know better, not much gets beat around more than a skid frame. Locktite is your friend.
