Dirt bike handle bars??

Has anyone ever ran a set of dirt bike handle bars (rental, pro taper, nekken, etc.) on their sled? I ripped the grab strap off my stock bars a few seasons ago and have thought about trying dirt bike style bars since. I know the stock cat bars don't have much sway back like a bikes might which could cause problems with the handling of the sled. Curious of everyone's thoughts!

I use the CFR bars on ny sleds once I rip the grab strap. I like them! I think (without knowing) that dirtbike bars are wider, too wide.

I've seen a few people run pro taper bars, but its usually on a short track and they are jumping a lot. You may be able to trim the ends so they aren't as wide - I know some woods riders that do that. By the time you add hand warmers and whatnot, it will probably be cheaper and definitely easier to just buy the stock bars that are plug and play.

love my CFR Crow bars , I have an adjustable riser on the Alpha and just the factory riser on the F7...

The problem with MX bars are that the mounting area is quite wide to accept triple clamps. I've cut them down to 31" and even 29" before but that leaves little room for anything other than a throttle block on one side and brake assembly on the other. My switches either had to go onto the dash or turned into single switches like my reverse and killswitch.
If you wanna do it, make it happen, but with CFR, RSI, FLY, and Kyber options for us sledders......makes more sense to stick with one of these brands over the MX crowd.
