Slednecks riding gear. Any good?

Someone is offering me a Slednecks jacket and pants for cheap. They were bought new in 07 and worn once he says. His sled was stolen and he never got another.
Is this gear any good? Like real good?

I was prepared (finally) this year to buy Klim stuff, but if this is pretty good gear I may try it for the price.

i wasnt impressed with it the jacket was nice light weight and comfortable
the pants i had just fell apart at the seams
i guess depending on witch model they are the ones i had were really thin
other then that they were great

Bought some slednecks pants in a bind 2 years ago and it was garbage, ripped on the first ride while going through some alders.

Slednecks gear was good stuff back prior to 2005 I think it was. The company expanded and began to get there gear made in China or some sweat shop. They have been selling garbage for around 4 years now. If you can score some of there older stuff it will be worth the money. I have an old jacket of theres and it is still holding strong. Anything you get now is waste of money. They sure do look cool though...

I haven't had good luck with their stuff either. My pants didn't make a full season before the zippers were shot and the seams split open. The waterproofing wasn't very good either. I think their Bomber line might be better than what I had but don't know for sure. I went back to Klim.
