thats one thing we dont have to worry about in the usa is if its a pickup you dont have to go threw a scale or ever get waighed. only if your a comercial vehicle. Atleast in south dakota anyway.

Overweight is overweight whether you're hauling commercial or not.

It's funny you say that because we got stopped and had to be put on the scales coming out of Fargo on our way home last winter with the setup below. Truck is rated at 7,700 towing capacity and the cop was certain we were over that and was ready to write the fine. So he made us pull into the weight station on the east side of town off of HWY 94 and they put the trailer only on the scale (nothing to do with axle weight just total trailer weight is what he wanted). It's a United 23' 7' wide with 3 Doo Renegades, gas and lots of gear. Trailer weight out at 5,327 lbs (trailer rated at 7,000, dry weight of 3,300) and the cop (commercial vehicle enforcement) was pissed because he was sure we were over. Just thought I would share.
