If you are insured with Progressive on your sled--You best move your policy--and do it quick or it will cost you ALOT more than your premium!!
Have a freind that has full coverage on his sled--totaled hitting a tree--took them 2 weeks before they even responded. Then he had to get the state insurance commisioner going on this and they say he should be paid.
Talked to another gentleman just down the road--same thing--claim denied--he had to take them to court to get paid--months--so much for getting back on your sled the same year.
They want your money--but do not want to pay out!!
They advertise great--ut do not pay out--that is why they can afford all the adds.
I would be looking for a new insurance company ASAP if I was insured by them--have heard nothing good about them when it comes to sled claims--they will hang you out to dry!!

USAA uses progressive to underwrite their sled insurance, glad I passed on that.
Are you sure on this?? Generally USAA uses Hartford for any underwriting.
I will be checking on this--Thanks??
I have not heard anyone say that they have made a claim on Progressive and get it paid yet!

Yup, I checked with them when I got my dragon this year.
Curious---Does USAA back Progressive on their coverage?? I have everything insured with USAA--They have always been awesome on their coverage and rates. But if they do not back this--The sled will be moved tomorrow.
Luckily they do not do that with the rest of my equipment insured by them.

I have been in the auto body industry for the last 16 years and dealing with Progressive is by far the worst one. They are the biggest crooks out there. There new concierge program is he biggest joke yet. If you have a claim on your car you have to take your car to their concierge shop where they have body shops come in and bid on your car. Which ever shop bids it the lowest gets the car. They take it to there shop fix it and return it. The problem with that is that you don't know who is fixing your car. It could be the worst hack shop in town (most likely will be cause reputable shops are not gonna go through this hassle). If people only knew half of what goes on by some of these ins companies half of them would go out of business. Allstate is not much better than progressive. I would recommend State Farm.
Thats why I like tha laws up here.. my insurance Co can recommend shops, but I can take it anywhere I want to get it fixed.. Also I've had a couple insurance co's try to pull a fast one on me... and I've called IBC(insurance bureu of canada(sp)) they's have some talks with the insurance companies and things work out in the end..
