Sled burbles at WOT

I have a 2008 XP and just this weekend my sled started burbling at WOT under a load. Snow wasn't that deep and it was kinda warm on the first day, but not so warm on the second day. It has never done this before and when I pulled the plugs they actually looked a little rich. All I have done is change the belt to the 377 and installed a vent kit on both sides. I do have the HPS can, but I have ridden with that twice in deep snow with no problems. No probelms until Friday and Saturday. It still runs well it just sounds bad when you are climbing and it starts burbling, don't know if the sled dropped off or not, as my natural instinct was to let off and turn out, get to the bottom and check things out. I can't find anything at all.

Air intake wasn't clogged and I do have the 2" Flowrites installed in the airbox too, so breathing isn't an issue.

I've started having the same problem under the same conditions. It's not that the sled loses any power, you can just hear the struggle to clear or to breathe. I think it's rich on the top end. I know these sleds were jetted rich to help avoid the problems of last year's 800 burning down. I don't have teh flo-rites in my airbox - so good to know it's likely not air.

Who has the solution?

Changing jets on these isn't as easy as the old REVs. Ya gotta take the whole damn jackshaft out. Can't just pull the secondary off, yank the carbs and re-jet. Kind of a stupid design, other than that it's a good sled.

BTW, I ride at 9000 and up!

My 2003 ZX was doing same and I changed the spark plug wires and it seems fixed. Will know for sure when I get it in deeper snow.

My Mechanic seems to think that it is over revving. I must change the clickers so the sled drops 200 RPMs. He said to also check the DPM line for moisture blockage. I'll try that this weekend.
