Figured I'd resurrect this from the 3rd page. Word is skyland is getting pounded with snow, and supposed to get another 12"-24" storm in the next couple days. Sounds like a pretty good weekend coming up. I'm headin' up saturday morning with a few people. Happy trails.

went up on sunday and it was great. we only made it to the 4 to 5 mile marker and played so much we were beat. spent alot more time stuck than anything but it was fun. talked to some guys that were in the back basins and they said they spent most of the morning just trying to get up the creek bottom threw 4 foot of fresh. so we decided we didnt miss anything and headed out. possibly going up again on saturday. not taking any newbys this time. save some energy.
anybody going up this weekend, thinking about hitting it this sun?
theirs 4 of us from havre hittin it sun. let us know how it is, hope this front drops some snow tomorrow or tomorrow night

Had a great first time in Skyland. Will be going back. Sat morning going in we were in snowing and blowing conditions but by the time we got to El tiger the sun came out and had a great day. Need to pack extra gas next time. Hope to learn more of the area, looks like there is lots there.

Hey guys...been a while since I've lurked! We were up there a couple weekends ago but I did take one scenic pic. The snow was pretty spring like. Anybody know if there has been any fresh stuff that way?

Any new snow in Skyland in the past couple days? How is the existing snow holding up?
snow has been holdin in there, got a couple inches in the last couple days, base is settled for the most part
