Skinz muffler not fitting?

I bought a used muffler for 2012 pro for my sled and I can see a little smoke coming out of the bottom where it joins the main pipe? Cant get an even alignment? There also seems to be a rattle?

If springs are old I would install new ones and or bend tabs for more tension, might even need to double them up springs.

It's on a 2012 I figured out the rattling I didn't move the rubber grommet over from the stock exhaust. However when I run it I still see a small amount of smoke come out where the two pipes meet together I think I'm going to try high temp silicone

This is normal for any new/used can/pipe... even an brand new sled.

If you are using an old "donut" seal... It probably has taken a set to the previous can...

Put in a new one and use some high temp.

So I put new donut gaskets on and double up on the springs and we can still see a very small amount of dust flying right underneath the joints so now I decided to put silicone around hope this works

It takes a bit of riding for the grafoil of the donuts to "bed in"... the Orange silicone will help seal until it does. Same situation on my stock stuff... and the HPS can I installed last fall for a friend.

The silicone eventually goes away... but by that time... all the parts are worn-in to each other.

Pray for snow.
