Skinz Concept 36 inch Front End - A-arms Only

I just want to add that I have changed two upper arms on the Skinz this year, the lower are stronger than stock, but the upper is very weak, they come loose in the weld to the cylindric center piece.
I also broke one upper bolt, the one that connects to spindel from top.
On the other hand I had to replace one lower Polaris standard arm when waiting on Skinz spares....
Perhaps better to stay in the garage...

It can happen to any of them. I am still on original set on mine and took a big enough hit to a rock that is gouged my spindle pretty bad. A-arms look great.

Best price with free shipping I have found so far for the S/M BPFS225-FBK was on ebay and ordered a set.

Prices are good in the offseason.

Getting pumped up for this coming season.

After listening to all the hype about how the SKINZ arms push the skis forward to make up for the reduction in width going from 39 t0 36, I finally got a chance to measure one up (on an '18 Axys). The arms do not move the spindle any farther forward than the stock arms. The SKINZ spindles, however are where the forward motion comes from. When looking close, the lower part of the spindle (from the lower arm mount and below) is what pushes the ski forward.

They are not supposed to be pushed more forward than stock arms they are supposed to keep the wheel base at stock settting. Where other a-arms as they get shorter so does the wheelbase due to the angle they mount to chassis.

I have to say now after riding it most of the season last year and now my first ride this year in some very technical terrain I am very happy. I could not go back to a 39" front end. The quality of the skinz A-arms is very nice.

Love it, just got 2 days up in steamboat with 3+ ft up on Buff Pass. Rolls over much easier, turn in feels great. Wish I did it when I bent a lower a arm early last season.

Makes you wonder how you ride without it. It almost feels like cheating now. Lol

Keep and eye on Upper ball joint bolt to make sure you have tight enough. I had to go back in and retighten and add loc Tite.

I tried the alt impact true clearance 36” front end on a 2017 axys. The alt impact front end is designed to work with react or non react front end shocks. It’s not the same. The react front end I have on my other sled with the shorter shock and steeper angle makes a huge difference which is why I have my alt impact arms for sale.

UPdate: This is my 3rd season with the Skinz 36" concept A-arms only. Still love the feel and have not bent one yet.

Any idea where to get Skinz lower A-Arms for a 2016 Axys now? Their website says they are only making matryx parts now and to check with local dealers, but I haven’t found anyone with them in stock. I am needing a left lower. Thank you!

I bought a bunch of stuff from the skinz auction. Text or call with what you need and I'll see if I have it. 814-525-7610
