I have been a Polaris man all of my life. My Uncle used to have a Polaris dealership and that was all I have ridden since I was 8 yrs old. To say that I was brand loyal is an understatement.
I decided this year that I was going to buy a new sled. I had my heart set on the Dragon 800. That was until I rode it and the Rev-XP summit back to back. I am a big boy at 6-2, 260 lb. and the Summit fit me like a glove. Turning, carving, high-marking is a breeze. I like my sled to want to stay upright and did not like the floppy feel of the dragon. The Polaris just did not handle like the XP and I could feel the 1-inch less track width. The ski-doo does vibrate a bit, I'll give you that. And as far as clutching, Xtreme Performance here in CO has the clutching down pat.
Needless to say, I switched - 30+ years of Polaris and I'm on a Summit. I guess I need metric tools and new gear now!
BTW - first post here - been watching for I while, but felt like I needed to stand up for my new favorite brand!
