Skid plates----Why aren't as many ppl using them?

I replaced the plastic underneath mine with 1/8" diamond plate. And the bumper is easy and cheap to replace. No need for a skid plate on M series.

Yeh, riding without one is quite silly.. I center punched a stump last year at Wolf Creek, Colorado, late season (typically over 10 feet of base) I still bent a support bar in my Viper with a skid plate, quite sure it would have been totalled out if it would've been naked.....

I think some people leave the skid plate at the dealer because the manufacturers are building newer and better sleds every year. Why not take your chances, if you total it get a better sled the next year???

I bounced my sled off a stump on a powerline road about 2 hours ago, I'm pretty sure it just saved my bulkhead! Holeshots are the best!
