Skid bolts - loctite?

Do the 4 bolts that hold the skid to the tunnel take loctite? If so, red or blue? I saw yellow loctite on the center rear shock, will red or blue loctite suffice or do I have to get yellow threadlocker for some reason??

blue is removable, red is high strength, yellow is probably something they put on at factory. I would use blue.

Unless they have been removed several times, I wouldn't locktite them again. They are a pita as it is. If you do, blue is the right stuff.

sometimes i think loctite is used by the manufacter just for liability and not application, because it is on every fricken thing nowadays!!!
I feel better!

Yeah, the Ski-Doo XP shop manual says to throw those four bolts away and replace with new ones.

aaaaaaa, blue loctite everything you put back together. stock nylon thread bolts came off my center shock mount and they had never been touched. blue loctite on averything! cheap insurance. lots of vibration on a 2stroke.
