Important Ski-Doo announces DELAYS in 2023 Delivery...

From Doo's website today:

  • Delivery Delays Update: We started delivering units in June, and we currently plan that almost 80% of the vehicles will be delivered by the end of December. But, some units initially planned for November or December delivery will roll into January 2023.

With the remaining 20% being SNOWCHECKED MOUNTAIN SLEDS?

That wording could mean, Western dealers that ordered trail sled will get them last, and vise versa for mtn sleds in the east.
After a conversation today, I’m still hopeful for a sled In November.

I checked with my dealer and my G5 Summit shows Sept/Oct for expected delivery.

I think it means that if the dealer shows your sled with a Nov/Dec delivery date, you may end up in January.

We'll see.

Sure would be nice to NOT have a repeat of last season!

Mine was set for a OCT delivery when I snowchecked. The cyber attack set doo back, I may get mine in OCT, maybe In Dec. No vins are alloted until the sled leaves the factory on a truck.

I wish I could tell everyone more of the conversation today, but with how quick things change these days, i don’t want to share and have something change, I will keep it to myself.
I will stay hopeful with a on time delivery.

Good news is, I seen new ECMs and DESS keys in a box for the 2022 sleds, that’s positive news and better news for the 2023’s if extras are being sent out.

Supposedly mine WILL be in my hands by Thanksgiving.
if it happens, I will be SUPER HAPPY.
But to be perfectly honest I am not holding my breath.

I am still waiting on my DESS KEY for last year's Turbo sled to arrive...

Are we still at 0 g5 summit sleds delivered anywhere? I haven’t seen a single one yet. That’s not a real good sign at all. It’s a logistical nightmare and would be foolish to believe that most of the snow checks are going to ship to dealers, inevitable delayed parts get shipped, get assembled and be in the hands of us consumers within 5 weeks for Thanksgiving when we are at 0 currently…Christmas starts seeming like
A maybe. Just the shipping alone in our current environment seems like a not gonna happen scenario.

Here’s to hoping. Till mine are here and working good I won’t be holding my breath or selling my current ones.

I have seen no G5 Summits delivered yet on any forum or on Facebook groups or Youtube.

It is likely they will arrive before the 2025 850 Cats though. So we have that going for us, which is nice.

Last season last sleds rolling to dealers here were Tundras and other utility & touring sleds. First they build&deliver sleds to most distant locations as they might take long time to ship.
