Ski-Doo 2026 Out of the Box!

It's probably their rear skid design and the fact that are so much heavier than a Summit. Looking at the Lynx website the Shredder RE weighs about 35 pounds more than a Summit X.
We got in a huge dump when I had mine. I was trying to get a 4 gallon jug to the top of the mountain. I finally had to unload it on second chute. Too insane to try and ride. I seen a guy weigh one wet with 4 gallon jug on it. It was 628. I had my bag on also. That's turbo nytro territory with my bag.

its definitely not the rear skid. my kids boodocker ds 4100 will out climb any NA sled we have ever ridden with so then i figure the RE 3900 turbo should be a great sled. NOPE the 2 sleds couldnt be any more different

Let's see.
The skids are different and one sled trenches more than the other.....(lynx vs Doo)

I wonder what could be the cause.

Definitely not the Skid...... 😵‍💫

Its the 15w, I know guys who put the doo 16w on their lynx and it got much better, 15w on a doo would be a mistake.

lets see here maybe reread my post i was comparing 2 different lynx sleds that are night and day difference between the 2 and they have the same skid

The freeride does just fine though with the same track. Guys around here love them. Not so much the case with the Gen 5 Lynx sleds.

I'm curious how the 2026 Lynx models will do with their new skid. It says it's a shallower approach angle, and the rails are no longer tipped up in the rear. Should help it float a little better.

The freeride is built for jumping and such, the 16w on it would make it a better deep snow sled.

The straight rails on the lynx will help with transfer and ski lift. Doo did that years ago.
