Ski-Doo 2012!

Have they done something to make the xp easier to pull over on a sidehill?? The one I rode took ssooo much it was crazy,,the same guy got on my nytro and pulled it over on its roof, guess he wasn't expecting the 4-stroke to be so easy...things must have changed since 2009:face-icon-small-sho

Night and Day changes since 09. I had a Nytro for the last 3 years and i really liked it but it just didn't have enough power and i didn't want boost so i got a new etec. It is so much easier to throw around and side hill with it is just stupid. Way better than my brothers 08 or the 2 09's in our group!! It's a totally different sled!!! I agree with Rob. There is no reason for a new chassis. What do you want them to do? I like how everyone claims that the Pro has taken over the world in sales yet Skidoo had more Spring checks last year than they ever have! Hmm.. My guess is if they aren't #1 still that they are really close. Anyway I love mine and i can't wait to try a 2012 next year!!

Hey "jpxp154" thanks for the bad rep!

Sorry some of us were looking for something more from Ski-Doo! My brother has one and I have rode it and thought they were getting better and I have thought of ordering one, but why would you when everybody else has a better product?

Thanks again!

Well, it may not be over the top amazing... but with their track change and storage addition it puts them second behind AC for the most changed 2012 sled.

Yamaha gave us the ever so exciting power steering on a few more models.
Poo fixed the running boards and added some sort of security system.
Doo came out with a new lighter and taller track with storage in seat.
AC will take the win for most changes.

(Some may think Poo did more... but I consider a whole new track a little bit more significant than strengthening running boards and a security option that adds nothing to how the sled actually performs on the snow) Remember when AC released the powerclaw? It had a lot of hype.... probably because it was marketed more, but track changes are still a fairly significant change if you think about it.

Very true. A track change is massive for a sled. Going to a 2.5 will add a whole new level of traction to a great motor. Combine that with ease of handling of the new skinny front end and I would be pumped to buy a new doo.

But for now I'm sticking with a track change of my own. Think I'm moving from the 144x2 to a 162x2.25. Should make the old pumkin a whole new beast!!!
