only skidoo would add underseat storage in the last year of a chassis ha ha. not to mention their terrible history with tracks. challenger lite? or how about porting the track for 3 years and then going back to a solid track?

2.5 inch will be a huge improvement over last years. I think they are waiting on new chassis and new clutches for a bit with not so hot economy affecting sales. Funny they finally added a trunk...that took a while. Looks like they are focussing the marketing on accessories and clothing, guess that's where the margin is.

Yah the Wireless ABS! Theres a good chance I could have saved my buddy a couple years ago. I had a birds eye view...........and he never seen it coming.

i think you answered your own question, the new pro is outselling them now. with a new cat coming for 12, if it turns out to be a winner that will put them only above yami, and if you ask me they don't really count in the mt. segment... so that puts them at the bottom. after years of stagnent designs in the 80's-90's, since snowmobiling engineers finally discovered suspension travel in the early 2000's, you need to update your design every few years now instead of 10 to stay competitive. thats always been the probem with yami, they get one design and then run it into the ground.

BRP is really proud of those 2012's. Check out the Canadian pricing. SummitX over 14K with electric start. Canadian $ is almost $1.01 US. I think the other manufacturers are drinking the same purple coolaid as their Canadian prices are equally ridiculous.

Rode the 012 X 54" in B.C. Sickest Ski Doo I have ever rode. Great power. Sidehills like no other. Downturns are second to none. Traction is off the hook with the 2.5" track. Storage. New bars. How can you not be stoked on the 012? What is wrong with the XP? Between the Freeride 137,146, and 154 and 146,154, and 163 summit I think the bases are covered and covered well! People want a chassis change...but what needs changing?? The chassis is sick!
