I am looking to get some concrete work done. I was wondering what I should expect to pay per yard for finished flat work...

Dont know about Utah but here in Montana where i live for simple flatwork you are looking at $2.25 to $3.00 a square foot. This is for a fully liscened and insured company.

concrete isn't too much... do it yourself if you have the time.
compact beneath and make sure its not too wet

4-4.50 a foot in central ND. Between my garage slab and driveway I've had around 50 yards poured in the last few years.

that's just for the crete!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! plus $$$$$ if you have someone put it in for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! luckily i have a good friend that does it for a living, and it only cost me whatever it cost him(labour for his guys, materials, etc) i had 5000 square feet plus frost walls and footings. 2000 square feet are colored and stamped, and he usually charges about 24/square foot for that, just for placing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you buy all the concret rebar and set it .70 ft to pore and finsh it. if some dose all the work and buys concrete rebar 4'' slab 3.50-4.00 ft 4'' slad with 1' edge $5.00+ ft

1cu yard at 4'' will do 80sqft $105 pr yd 6 sack + $8 yd fiber mesh gravell $ 15 pr yd = 1.60 pr ft cost + labor to set pore finsh strip and drive time/gas

we have had guys pour for .95 labor and we buy the mud
