After three years of pestering Motomikey and drooling over these flatbeds, I FINALLY get to order one of his beautiful Silverlake sled beds.

I'll post pictures as I get them.

My truck is a 2012 f350, long bed, with a 6" lift and 37" tires.
The flat bed makes a lot more sense than putting the regular sled deck in a truck that tall (did that a couple times this season).

With my wider tires, I opted for the dually bed instead the single wheel.
9 foot length.
Getting two boxes mounted underneath up front, black powder coating.

This is going to be fantastic for the sleds and ATVs.

What's the L x W ?...I'm trying design a deck that incorporates a storage box. It's common to mount them below the deck forward of the rear tires. Can you imagine the ice build up on those boxes.

DPG

8' wide.
9' long.
The bed will extend 60" behind the goose ball.
The rear will have RV cut dovetail corners so I don't get into trouble with my 5th wheel camper.

The 8 foot bed on the srw is going to look all sorts of goofy, why didnt you get the one with flip down edges

I've got wide tires. My stance is 88" wide.

The bed will only hang over the tires by about 4 or 5".

I could have gotten the SRW bed and put some sort of fender flare on it (they make one out of alum), but I really prefer to have some sort of edge or railing along the bed when I'm loading/hauling sleds or ATVs so having the flip down sides were not the selling point for me.

I could have done something like this guy...but chose for the dually.

thats awesome.. you will not be disappointed.

They sure make a quality product for sure!

Thanks.
I've had one of his beaver tail decks since about 2005 and have always like itl. It's light, easy to load and unload by myself and has held up well.
I've actually still got the original plywood on it (which could be replaced now).

Is there anyway we could get some pictures of the underside of the flat bed to see how the ramp fits in?

Also, could you fit two four wheelers on the long box flat bed?

Jay, it will be permanent.
Trying to sell the stock bed, tailgate, bumper, receiver hitch and factory gooseneck/5th wheel.

Yes, ATVs will sit side by side.
I'll see if i can get Mike to snap a couple pictures of the underside. I'm three hours away from it.

Josh, here is a pic of my tire width.
I will put fender flares on the front tires when this bed is done.

If a guy wanted to spend some (more) cash....

I wonder what it would look like to:

- leave the front wheels/tires as is
- get the same wheels but wider, and in a more aggressive offset for the rear, with wider tires.

Staggered setup, like a sports car....but in truck form. Dumb idea?

Dunno. I wonder if it effects handling or tracking.
Makes it hard to rotate tires other than straight across. Lol
Would look funny if you swapped them front to back. Haha.
