silber turbo help

Sounds like a really good idea i did an amp draw on nine end it was only 5.25 amps bit i never checked the amp s on my o2 was going to do that this weekend

After installing the battery and switching the turbo electronics over to that circuit I am still having issues!!!!

On start up, it runs fine for a few seconds, then starts to go lean. It kind of sputters or acts like it is going to die and then the o2 will come back down to normal and everything is fine. When it is fine the a/f is 13.8 or so, and it idles around 1950.

So now I am thinking it is fuel pump or fuel pressure related. I get 13.5 to 14.6 v when starting the sled on the fuel pump circuit now. So it is not low voltage to the pump that is causing this.

I am going to replace my fuel filter and see what that does.

Any other ideas??

I'm going to put the fix kit in mine i have 105 lbs compression. It seemed to work at low elevation butmaybe it just doesn't have enough compression to run at elevation. I have checked just about everything i can think of and that is all that is left

Low idle issue

I had a low idle issue on my 09 dragon with bd kit.
I did the piston update in 2010 and it went away.
It idled fine again.
Slowly came back as the compression went down until i lost all comp on the pto side.
I bet the pistons will work.
Good luck

Ya......I don't think that's it. It would idle like crap all the time if it was pistons.
Please correct me if I'm wrong though.

works good at low elevation when it has some air, get to 9000 feet and it sucks the highney, but who knows im doing the fix anyway just for kicks, seems like guys are having lots of engine failures in the pro these days

Turbo

You have probably already checked but a chipped or cracked reed will cause the same issue. That would b my guess seeing how you've checked the already obvious stuff. It will idle low because to much air is going through compared to fuel. It will also cause a lean condition up to 5500 rpms at times.
My .02 cents

There are at least 7 people with an issue like this that have posted on this forum already. Has anyone solved any of their issues? What have you tried and has anything helped or worked? Also, what fuel are the people running that have had problems? Thanks for all of the information so far from everyone!

i have checkd my reeds multiple times and dont see anything wrong with the reeds. It seems to run good at low elevation, only when i went up to yellowstone did it do this stalling out and low idle problem. I have checked my Tmap sensor against two other ones by applying 5 volts to it and givving it vacuum and pressure, all three checked very close to eachother. Also on the tempurature side of things i checked it with an ohm meter and all three checked the same. Im going to take a swing with the fix kit, either way im sure i wont regret the fix

Ya don't think its reeds. Like I've said before this is an intermittent problem and only on start up and it does it only once per start up. If it was a reed it would run crappy all the time.
I have a new filter coming for mine, should be here any day.
Check fuel pressure today and it was fine. 62 psi. Couldn't get it to do the lean thing today though after quite a few starts. I was trying to see if when it acted up if the fuel pressure was dropping.

My service manager at the dealer thinks it might be a communication error with some sensor.

More to come.....still working on it......
