Silber settings let's see them

If anyone has any ideas would be appreciated. Never seen that before on fuel controller.

Keep a eye on it, anytime the blue 8 light goes on the box thinks its seeing boost and is adding fuel, the pressure sensor in the box may be on its way out....had one do the same thing and it went bad.
Unhook the pressure sensor line at the solinoid, blow into it at idle and at around 2 psi the blue 8 light will go on and box will fire secondary injectors, engine will flood a bit.
Boost sensor is a very sensitive deal on these boxes.

On another note i'm going to start messing around with clutching and gearing to see if I can get it better for bottom end/enguagement...will post results if I find any improvement, have 3 helixes to try with some other stuff.

You can try the slp green pink spring to lower enguagement a tad same open pressure just a bit less initial.

Thanks for the info, but the 8 light isn't blue It's a green color, ill take a pic of it to see what you guys think.

Thanks again.

Went for the maiden voyage tonight and tried straight 91 fuel in the Assault and first time the boost came on Det! Now before you all say no sh*t Sherlock this was a low boost test so rolled it back to the shop threw in 10 liters of 110 changed a few #'s (Thanks powerfuldodge) retorqued the spark plugs and proceeded to scare the sh*t out of myself! Running 4 lbs boost or there abouts and the afr # are good (14-12) clutching is 74g and 4200 RPM engagement the only thing I really was worried about was on startup after the box cycled it went to flashing green on #1 which I found out is a start mode (idles on stock map only). Don't know WOT RPM yet (not enough snow around here yet to open it up) but should know soon. The # 8 light flashing has me baffled I guess Justin or snowshover would be your best bet. Just a little thing to try if you guys want to stop the Det on the bulkhead just throw some silicone on the bulkhead & bolt and it stops the banging, works great!
Having fun so far and hope more in the future! Turbo's definitely ROCK!!!!! Hey and thanks to everyone who has posted here and the other threads, lots of great info, keep it coming!!!

Mine did the same thing the second time i had the sled out. It worked fine all day but when i got home and started it to put it away in the garage that is what i had as well for lights flashing. It was raining really hard on the way back to town and i never siliconed the box. So the box must have gotten wet. I put a small shop heater on the seat and blew warm air on the box all night and in the morning it was fine. Since then i siliconed the box and no issues. Just got back from a ride and sled runs great

These boxes will will not take water. I personally own two of these setups one 2012 kit and one 2011 kit. Dobeck says they are water proof but I think they should change that to water resistant. I personally would encourage anybody to put these boxes in a pelican case and seal the $&1t out of it. We had this hanging blue light happen to four of them just this weekend but it was very wet conditions.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm sire that's what it is I forgot to silicon mine and it rained heavy on the way back home as well so I'm sure that's the problem.

Will put a small heater to it

Will do with the silicone at least. Have mine mounted on the gauge bracket hopefully will keep it a little drier up there also close for an old man to see:face-icon-small-ton.

Hey Liv4snow, what Pelican case model number did you go with. Thanks for the help.

On those pelican cases do you have to drill a hole or.something for the wires? Just wondering how you close it with wires.

Got a chance to run my sled this weekend:

10 pounds of boost, clutch weight 78.5g, running right at 8200 rpm (close enough for me)
6000 feet, was running about 105 octane, more than a 50/50 mix while I tuned it in.

Zero detonation never hit it once

Settings:
Green: 4
Yellow: 4
Red: 4
green/blue: 4.5
yellow/blue: 2
red/blue: 5

Sled ran flawless. First I had the red/blue at default 4.5 but from wot off and back on wot it would stutter like it was lean. Bumped it 0.5 and now on off and back on no stutter and pulls like a freight train. Running 11.5-11.8 on AFR, I like to be a touch rich.

u shaped notch right where the halves come togeather, then run wires (in the black loom" through the notch with 1 wire tie on each side so you cant pull the wires and a glob of silicone between the wire ties to seal it all up. I also order 2 of the soft foam inner pads from pelican to hold the box in place.

I have only had to had a chance to tune a little here in Minnesota and my only problem so far is there is a bad lean spot right before the box sees boost, almost like the the blue light needs to come on sooner. Justin said to try dropping the red/blue and raise the red a little. Tried that and seemed to help a little but created a bog when punching it from a stop. Any other ideas? When I first got my 2010 kit it had a terrible lean spot there, sent the box back to Justin and whatever he did to it fixed it. I'm worried it will betroublesom on the trail and when partial throttle tree riding or side hilling

Whats your green setting at? sounds like your lean at high cruise, ive had this problem...

Also what boost and fuel are you running at what elevation? These sleds seem to be a pretty lean on high speed cruise. I am still running 4 on the green, but am running over 100 octane and never had it hit det or anything. However my AFR will read between 14 and 16 maybe even 17 real quick, but haven't had any det issues with it running higher octane. Might even be worth bumping up the green on trail for high speed cruise.

I will try to fiddle with it some more, our snow is going fast. I raised green but then would lose some low end and slow cruise. Would be nice if the low and high cruise could be tuned separately. Just doing some testing at 1200 feet, 5lbs boost on 100% av. Works good at low cruise but there is a spot right before the boost light comes on
That it goes way lean and cuts out a bit, af guage will go all the way to 20. I need to get out west with it just wanted to get some initial tuning in before we go

Exactly what my problem was/is.. either your rich at low cruise and good at high cruise, or your good at low cruise and will go lean at high cruise.

You kinda just got to find a happy meadium, and air on the cautious side.. which is rich at low cruise... lean midrange is last thing you want.

Mine is doing the same thing...If i was crusin at 45mph then punch it, it would somethings go way lean 19-20 on the A/F guage. I would just let off the throttle and hammer on it again and it would be fine..It doesn't happen all the time..I'm running at 1000ft ,boost is at 4.5PSI any more and it jumps on the drivers(avid drivers on the way) 70% 94octane 30% 114octane. green lgt @ 4,red @ 3.5, yel/blue @4, RED/BL @4. By lowering red/blue i find that the boost is a little smother coming in. Next time out i'll try to play with the yellow , to see if i can clean up the lean on high cruise....But i'm super happy with the kit..at WOT A/F is 12 - 12.5 , it runs awesome.....I only have 220 miles on the kit but I love it.... Also still playing with my RPM..At 75g it revs 8000RPM and with 76g it over revs some times ,like on a 70 mile ride it might over rev a couple of times ,i'm just trying to configure a 75.5g weight and that will be bang on for my set up..
