With everyone installing their silber kits let's see what boost levels, clutching setup, and fueling everyone is using at your elevation.

Would be good to get a nice list going of different settings people are running.

2012 163 PRO

4-6k FT

6# Boost

50/50 (94/AV)

Primary spring that came with kit - clutch done by indy dan pulling 80G team adjustable weights

Secondary spring is the one that came with the kit with 3 delrins in the secondary.

All box settings the way they came from silber except i bumped yellow blue to 2.5.

Gonna try solid green at 3.5 next ride as its a little rich.

My arms are honestly sore, and shoulder hurts from hanging on.

TTT theres got to be more people out there with some set ups that are close! The recommended clutch weights seem light, anyone else agree?

I don't know off hand my box settings but at 9500' and 10 lb boost 77 grams is perfect. I am running the 42/46 side of the helix but will bump the primary weight to 80 grams and the helix to the 44/48 side next ride to see if it will handle 12lbs.
Now if I could keep the det sensor from setting off in the midrange I would be a happy camper!

Thats a good starting point for me. I went by his sheet, I believe it was 70 or 72 grams for 9psi... I put 71 ish grams (forget exactly) and was over revving, brought it down to 6 psi and was still over revving... this is around 10k-11k'.

Any thoughts on why your DET is going off for you in midrange? Mine was today but I figured it was due to the over revving issue. I'm excited to load that thing a bit and see it pull for real!

Does anyone have an issue with the sled not wanting to start after setting the DE7 code off?

I had this issue a few weeks ago. I had to hold the throttle wide open while I pulled it over. It finally sputtered and came back to life. Not saying its right or that it will work for you, but it seemed to work for me.

I think the air box bolt might be hitting the bulk head....but?

Gotchya, I will double check that the bolts not hitting, but I thought I took enough of the head off.

Matt, that worked for me once, wouldn't start for a bit, held it wide open and it came to life. The next time it did not work.

new silber kit

2011 at 3 to 6000 feet, 50/50 av 94, 76 grams of weight at 7 pounds of boost, over revs on the trail, but its good in the deep. i now have 3 zip ties on each side of the air box holding it on trying to get rid of the det light. i also hit the det light in the mid range on trail A LOT. i noticed today my motor is hitting my pipe, so i bent the pipe guard in a bit. also last ride my silber box would not calibrate properly on start up so it ran like crap all day. i have been trying all kinds of numbers with the box. i find the best in the trees for me is green 4, yellow (looks more like orange) 4 , red 4, green blue 4, yellow blue 1, red blue 5.
-a couple other problems im haveing is my turbo oil cap top pops off spraying oil everywhere, also on my clutches so now im frying belts.
- my pto side spark plug unscrewed it self a bit.
- my oem pipe sensor unscrewed it self and fell out
- i pulled out the steering post bolt holing on my new airbox, now the threads are stripped.

set

I'm at 79.5 grams probably 6 lbs only pulling 7800 rpm need to turn it up a hair. Or take out some weight. Was in west Yellowstone. Felt good.
Seemed like the knob didn't make any difference when I turned it though

I looked at my airbox a bit yesterday. The bolt head was not hitting but the airbox clearly was. I filed a little away from the tab on the airbox near the bolt. Will see if that helps at all. Have not noticed any pipe to motor clearance issues anywhere.

1000FT set-up

My settings for a 2012 800 switchback

- elev. - 1000ft
- weights are a little sensitive 74grams is very close to being perfect but under certian conditions hard pack and a nice cool day it will over rev just barely, so 75grams peaks at 8025rpm and went on a 70mile ride yesterday and it did not over rev .
- I think i'm running 3 PSI, will have a new boost guage in the next week or so, but I have the low psi spring and dial turned all the way down
- running 94 oct. fuel
- AFR is in the range all the time 11.5 - 14.5 the odd little blip to 16..
-Green:4.5
-Yellow:4
-Red:4
-Green Blue:4.5
-Yellow Blue:3.5
-Red Blue:4.5

MPG - 10

Also curious what everyone else is running at 8-10,000 feet. I have only gotten to ride mine twice and that was in colorado above 10,000 mostly to break the sled in so if anyone has their setup's for 8-10,000 I could try out that would be great, I will double check my numbers on my box I was running at 6-8lbs for 10,000 feet that ran pretty good.

Finally got a test run on my sled. Adjusted green up to 5. I am a tad rich on low cruise but between 5500-6250 at steady throttle I am getting 16-17 on afr. Any suggestions getting rid of it? Almost seems its right between when it switches from green to green/blue. Left other setting alone. Wot is 11.1 so need to bump it down.

Also clutch engagement is like 4200 that seems high, what about you guys?

And lastly at home at sea level idle was spot on 1750-1800. Rode a little now its 2200-2400. Think tps is off? If so is it hard to check?

*Edit: Got home and notice when I put the sled away when the fuel box is at idle I have the normal green on the 1 and also have a flashing darker green flashing on the 8. What does that mean?

Thanks guys

If anyone has any ideas would be appreciated. Never seen that before on fuel controller.

Got out yesterday playing hookie from work.
45 degrees, 5-6000 altitude 75 grams, 6-8 psi
idling cold at the trailer at 15-1600 rpm. 16-17 afr.
When warmed up it idle bounces between 17-2000 rpm. Consistant 15 afr +- a couple
Cruising about 5000 rpm afr in the 16 range
when you pinch the throttle afr shows 11-13 and stays there all the way to 8200
Is this normal?
I had it backfire once when I was in and out of the throttle barely moving turning around
My bottom end is progressively getting doggy
Got a tip there was thirty inches of fresh here, as you can see there about three
