Silber secondary injectors. possible problem

What could my problem be. I have a 2011 PRO and 2011 Silber kit. Sled has been getting a worse and worse midrange bog that I could get it to pull through. Now I can't get the sled to pull through the midrange (blue light won't come on)(sled gets the ya-ya's). Now I have started to go through the sled and found one of the spark plug wires wearing(possibly cause short). Sled seems to idle fine, with the exception of the RPM gauge floats around from 1950-1650 rpm with no noticable noise change. I pulled the boost line and blew into it and the blue light comes on the box, but with no real change in RPM or the way the sled idles (I thought that the sled would stall if blue light comes on the box at idle). Tested resistances of EGT,Coils,TSS bypassed,

I've got some ideas and here they are but would like some advice from some others that have maybe had this problem as well.

1. Possible secondary injectors sticking? (is there a way to test with them on the sled)

2. Wiring issue with the secondary injectors?

3. Control box problem? (I thought if there was a problem that the blue light wouldn't come on)

Any other ideas or things to test would be greatly appreciated.

I have been battling this poor running sled issue for 2 years and it just seems to be getting worse. I have contacted Justin for help (couldn't figure out), I took sled to Polaris dealer that installs Silber turbos (Couldn't figure it out), And finally took to a snowmobile performance shop that Installs Silber turbos (Couldn't figure it out).

I have checked and tested just about everything on this sled with nothing fixing the problem. I thought I found the problem when I checked the TPS (had a dead spot) got dealer to put one on and no change.

Has anyone had troubles with the secondary injectors, and what would the part numbers be. willing to try anything at this point.

Mine floats at idle and I assume it was my reeds. On diss assembly found a few chipped pedals so possibly. But maby your pedals are a bit more gone and flooding? Or a massive boost leak and over fueling??

How about that solenoid that allows the box to get boost. I might be sticking. Because you should be seeing the blue if you get any boost. What boost are you running.

X2, mine was having issues this weekend.

1-smoke test for exhaust leaks
2-test boost leak
2.5-make sure your blowoff valve is not leaking
3-compression test(if 4000 miles)
4-go to your reeds(for a checkup)
5-check for a bad powervalve diaphragm

if your sled is 4000 miles, an overall checkup is due(if not done already). The chances are extremely high you have a bad fuel controller, they create the weirdest symptoms ever, been there believe me in 2008-2009-2010. If your budget is inline, maybe give cody philips racing(or turbo performance) a call, they swap fuel controller for a standalone ECU with a money back guaranteed result.

Gino,, you tow rope commando.. why all the hush hush about what happened with the big twin pro ?

oops,, perfect tune ?

just stop the ambulance chasing .. Its what makes so many go to MOTEC / BOOST IT / HAND HELD PRIMER EVEN and forget your name ..

btw,, the antilag feature has been availible from cat/doo and polaris for 75 bux since 2003 to anyone who sends their box to the race dept.. LMAO..top secret..

old news is new news to the nieve

hey carburation grand'pa, on my last trip in the USA, i met a bunch of guys knowing you good.....only bad words came off of their mouth, your carbs days are over, like it or not.
i see you can't make a difference on a launch control(timing retard) and an anti-lag :face-icon-small-sho, again prouving your ignorance to the public!!......i feel bad for you behing so outdated......it might be why you sent me a PM last winter to get an ECU on your own :bounce:for a monster sled nobody never seen, needing 6 injectors to make 500 hp.. LMAO :pound:get lost gus.

if you want to talk to me be a men and call me 418-515-0342 or PM or email, stop interfering like that.

I have no clue what is between Precision and Gus, but precision when you tell someone to stay on topic you should follow that yourself. In your first reply before Gus said anything you did give some advice, then of course you have to go on and try to sell your ****, that was not the topic of this post, so please stay on topic now and in the future, and PS the possible issue the above people are talking about isn't even with the controller it is with the solenoid that lets the controller see boost as well as atmospheric pressure on start up.

Tdorval, it is not that i want to plug my stuff, i know the ECU will solve is problem, not the only way probably, but still a fix to his problem. I see what you mean also and the fact that some people are itchy when they hear or read the word " ECU" doesn t mean i am off topic. In this particular thread i still don t think i was off topic since i am trying to help this guy.

And what happened to the BIG TWIN?

Maybe have your TPS checked. I had similar problem would bog at 6 to 6500rpm. I had the tps recalibrated runs like a champ! Hope that might help good luck

More info from today.
1. Took exhaust valves apart
-clean
-no tears in the bellows
-All gas ports are clear
2. checked solenoids: (applied 9Volt battery)
-Exhaust valve solenoid opened when power appiled and holds air when closed, all hoses are clear
-Secondary injectors click
-Boost solenoid clicks
3. Checked box for boost indication by blowing in boost line
-Blue light turns on and sleds idle drops 300 rpm when I blow as hard as I can in the boost line (this was with green/blue all the way up (7.5))
4. Checked any electrical connections that I could to ensure that they are clean and tight
5. Took the fuel lines off the fuel pump:
-Blew into the supply side and fuel came out of the return side easily (makes me think the filter is clear)

What next???

-check reeds
-make sure secondary injectors are clear and clean
-go back to stock and see how it runs.

Any comments appreciated

Agreed

X2 on the TPS. I adjust my TPS every 250-300 miles and its always out of operating range and yes the symptoms you're speaking of are caused by the pos TPS. Just adjusted three of them over the last week on boosted sleds. Problem is that being on boost enhances the symptoms of an out of range TPS. Base line should be .698-.701 and idle set should be .937-.941. Show me a sled that runs on VIPEC without the same issue.
