Should I de-decal?????

What do you guys think? I was thinking about stripping off the decals on the VE and cutting down the "chrome" windshield, for a free change of the look. Crank snapped on me so that'll use up my cash....boooooo-urns.

I prefer the clean look myself. The other nice thing about pulling off the stock graphics is that you can customize your graphics to you own personal taste.

You can go to any sign shop and have them make any decal of your design. Pretty cool.

Big $$ but sometimes too a different color hood goes great too.

It's tough at first pulling off graphics, it's like should i or should i just leave it but once your committed theres no turning back. When the graphics are off your options are wide open have fun and good luck

I think you should too. I removed mine and love the one solid color. It looks clean.

Remove them. The ones on the hood come off really easy with a little heat. The ones on the side were it is ruff take a little more work but come off pretty good too.

i hate the look of a solid color i like the grafics. I like to see a machine and look at the decals and know what it is or what is uneder the hood at least for the ones that are stock.

On your chromed windscreen just be really careful not to get any sticker residue removal like goof off type stuff on it because it ruins the finish almost instantly. When cutting it down to your preferred height you can line the cut mark with black electrical tape then cut through that. It keeps the shears from damaging the finish. Re-apply the edging and you're all set. Cut down really improves the appearance over nothing at all plus they take the tens times daily roll over better.

Also if you guys with large ***ly stock clear windshields want a smoked or colored look you can cut it down and paint the inside. No sense spending a lot of extra money on aftermarket ones when you can make it from what you've already got.

a cut down windsheild is really nice, and i prefered to leave my engine size stickers on, other than thank, all solid colors. and vents.

but cutdown windsheilds have the benefit of kicking a little snow off the gauges, deflect some wind, and dont break nearly as easily.

i dont know if id take off ALL the decals, but peeling certain ones off just to make it not so gaudy makes them look tons better.

I just pulled the decals off mine, and I like it better even just plain. I am going to leave it that way for a while and consider putting some flames or other type of decals on it. Anyone know where to find hood decals online?

Removed Decals and Added Vents??

Don't think I haven't caught hell for this:mad:

I think their jealous:p

Take them off...my sled was only in the garage about 20 minutes last fall before I started peeling. Looks much better IMO. Side panels are getting painted black this year along with polishing the tunnel.
