Hey guys...I was going to buy a 2010 SE but came across a good buy on a 09 hcr. Before i knew it the check book was out,so at this point i hope the 2010 don't go much better.lol How are these sleds set up stock? i was hoping to get some help with clutching this thing for 3-6000 ft and what ever other info you may want to share. I understand some guys dont like to give up there secrets so if that's the case can ya pm me.:)We cant get beat by those xp's! ;) And also looking for a can thats not ear piercing to get rid of some weight, but i think there was a thread about that a while ago, ill have a look. Thanks..:beer;

I have D&D Y pipe, Ultra Q can, boyssen reeds, slp large air intake, D&D shift assist, cutlers adjustable weights clutching is dialed in to 3 to 6 thousand feet sled pulls like a bugger. Outclimbed the xp's, m1000's but not the turbos

For a can.. HPS are the best cans ever made, just my option, but they sound amazing, drop weight and don't lose horsepower like some of the others!

IF your going to do a can, I would just do the full SLP pipe set. Really wakes the 800 up and its not alot louder than stock, just a nice ring to it. SLP would also have clutching specs for your elevation.

09 hcr

I'm running the slp pipe kit this year on my 09 hcr, and have heard good things about them. I have lots of additional vents, gauge cage, both shock towers, and more hood vents. I just put a 48/36 helix on, rock rollers, and kept the weights the same. Ride 0-3000 for the most part. My buddies 09 sp 153 with 48/36 gets up and really goes on the low end. This sled pulls pretty hard stock, and took me anywhere I wanted to go lastyear. The wider front end adds stability, but is easy to sidehill and throw around. The track bites like no other, but you lose a little in pure powder. The track really isn't that bad, you just have to keep her pinned, and be more aggresive. I'm dialing in all the shocks right now, revalved, added pressure in zeros, and finding better front shock pressure. You will love this sled.
