The riding should be good with all the snow.. I used to ride over Iron Mt. from Skagit valley down t the gate is a cool road ride/off trail

I'll know more by friday,, I have a friend who works for a light co.. and they have cell towers up there.. Just talked with him about an hour ago will keep you posted... The work probably wouldn't happen until next weekend but they do keep the road open. We'll see.....

If you are going up there, watch where you park. Last year it sounded like the whole forest was coming down. Had to clear trees on the way out. Don't forget your chainsaw.

We cut a trail all the way to the top today. We rode all the way to the play area and then went out towards Iron mountain. Trees are down all over the place up til about 8 miles in. After that no more down trees. We cut up as much as we could til we ran out of saw gas. Still a ton of clean up to do in order to get a groomer or snow cat in there to service the cell towers. You can get up there with a snowmobile as of right now. The snow is very deep and heavy so I am sure more trees will come down.
