You need to research what present means in the Illinois legislature.... it is very common, but seems most just like to interpret it how they want.. Yes it is retarded, but that is the Illinois way sometimes...

You have to love percentages... you say it is down... but yet give no facts. Yah, the percentage is down comparatively, but that doesn't say anything about if its size is larger or smaller...



Oh, on another note, I like Palin... I wonder what the country would be like if she was VP to Obama..... hmmmm

Here we go again comparing Obamma's duties as "Commander in Chief" to that of the VP? and again I ask the question PLEASE qualify Obama! WOW perfect democrat respone...............none just throw more BS into the mix!

and to set the record straight, I am not going for Palin at all! I am just anti Obama period!

I am scared $hitless O'bama may win! and so should you be!

There are global powers(think Iran developing nuclear weapons, Russia invading Georgia), that are just waitng around to hand the US our heads on a platter!

There is absolutely ZERO learning curve for the President of the most powerful nation in the World to get into office and figure out how to change the country! Taxes, Health Care, Welfare Reform, "Change" will not mean a Damn thing if we can not protect our borders, air space, waters! Can you count in Euros?

Get out of the box and read some world history, or The bible, or the Quoran, I really don"t care but all are proof that with power you will fall and the Threat of Global Nuclear War is very REAL!

They should be the same... as they are expected to perform the presidents duties very quickly if something should happen to the president. Not sure why everyone thinks they are that much different.

Qualify Obama to you? Isn't that just practice in rhetoric? I mean, any response I could give you, you probably already have a counter ready for it.... Obviously he is qualified for those that are going to vote for him.

So you are scared? I mean truly scared???? I mean I try to be informed, but do you think Obama is really a lame duck that is going to roll over? Not sure who he would roll over too, as we are the most power country in the world.... Honestly, I don't think anyone really knows how he will do..... you know... that whole experience thing. I don't think you can assume either way on that....

At least both of the candidate are intelligent people with a lot more than "daddy's money and coat tails" going for themselves. You are going to be surprised at what Barack Obama is going to do for our country and national image.

We all know that the will of the people is CHANGE. That is what Obama brings to the table. Real or imagined. Perception is 9/10th of reality

The will of the people is Change? yeah change back to when you had to actually go to work to put food on your table not to the local hand out station? and change to where all people pay the same taxes for what they consume! and change back to the times when it meant something more that paying more taxes to be succesful!

I agree Bush has us in a bad spot right now in the Middle East and there is no easy way out! There used to be a balance in power between the Shiite and Suni Muslims remember the eight year war between Iran and Iraq?

Well we upset that balance of power and if we leave now based on sheer numbers the radical Shia will take over power in Iraq, and it will only time before Israel is consumed! That is world History 101 non debatable and belived by all religions both Christain/Muslim/nonbelievers. This is in your 8th grade history books.

Back to why I am scared of O'bama well he claims to be Christian but went to school in a Muslim founded school and from his own Biography learned from the Quran? He also spent 12 years as a member of a Church that can't stand the white man and has since (after a 12 year membership has stopped attending) this is all been publicly admitted to, the same church where he was married and baptized his children?

How can anyonyone in thier right mind just ignore ANY of these FACTS! How can someone vote party lines after all of these facts! have we become that blinded by our comfort level that nothing would ever happen to us Americans?

AND then disquailify someone(PALIN) and Ignore everything that is factual (O'bama)because they are female or have never been out of the country?

Niner, way to attack my post when I said I am undecided. I never once said I was voting for Obama, yet you ask me to defend him. It seems you are on the defense of the McCain campaign.

And finally, do you all honestly think that if McCain gets elected that Palin's husband is going to keep snowmobile areas open? I laugh whenever I read that, someone please tell me what Mrs. Cheaney has done for this country, haha.

Now that's a straight up lie! There's video on You Tube and pictures that can be found pretty easily of her visiting Troops in Kuwait in 2007. I'm not saying she's some rich, well traveled person, but she has been out of the country so quit pulling liberal blog talking points that have already been proven lies.

Last year, Palin journeyed abroad to visit 500 members of the Alaska Army National Guard who were stationed in northern Kuwait for 15 months. She also stopped at a U.S. military hospital in Landstuhl, Germany, to visit wounded Alaskans, including regular Army troops based at Fort Richardson.

The journey marked the first time that Palin had traveled overseas, according to Sharon Leighow, a spokeswoman in the governor's office.
