sandmans log

so did anyone get out and ride this weekend??? it rained today so didn't even get a chance to ride the mower. granddaughters were supposed to go up to diamond lake today am charging my phone so i can see if they sent the pics they promissed! did get the driveway hosed down and the drain for it dug out a little more:) please god if you read this log send us some snow so this poor soul can have better things to post about;)

Yes yard work is getting to me also
I NEED SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No riding at this household. :face-icon-small-fro I'm still waiting for parts to repair my NYE weekend damage. Turns out that stump I hit left some sort of "destroyer" in there and the more Tedd looks, the more damage he finds.

I'm hoping to ride on Saturday. Even if it's just more trail riding. I'm getting cabin fever!!!

Dang those New Years ride anyways!! Hope it's fixed soon and you'll be out again. If we get any freaking snow soon!!! I think our Diamond trails are getting iffy.

Just wait

Lots of winter left............ altho it was 56 in bend today; thats 2 deg below a record:mad:. The low for tonite is going to be over 20 deg above normal (fcstd temp: 40, av this date 20).

anyone know if they got any up top today? actually have one of the bartenders trucks from the lodge in the shop for a fuel pump. small world, to bad i don't drink:) but he's been in town for a couple days so he couldn't give me any kind of report. things are looking sweet from saturday on!!!

Snow's back

Bachelor had about 6 - 7 inches since Tuesday. Was snowing at my house awhile ago; lil colder too. Talked to a guy in Bend who rode Weds AM; he said snow was pretty nice. Suppose to start snowing Sun or Mon

Looking better by next week, but then we've heard that from the weatherman recently and it didn't happen :face-icon-small-fro. Let's hope there right this time.

Frank or Cliff? We spent some "quality" time with them over the long New Years weekend!:beer;

Tripcheck showed 2 new inches yesterday at 5200 ft. but it looked like it mostly melted off by afternoon.

dang sandman that was an awesome ride report!!!! Now you got me wanting helmet cam footage.....and to get back to Oregon with a sled!

lets all keep our fingers crossed that the snow does come. don't think it can handle another week of rain!!! supposed to start saturday night and continue on through the week. should be some good riding by next weekend. sure hope so, usually the pow stops falling and i stop riding by the end of march, doesn't leave to many weekends to ride. hopefully they will all be good ones:)

looks like another false snow report, was really looking forward to some sweet pow. can feel this season slowly slipping away. how many times can the weatherman be wrong in one season, can't remember a year where so much pow was forcast and so little arrived! maybe i can get a set of those atv tracks for my sled so i can go riding;)

getting ready to head out, should be one EPIC weekend!!! they've got over 100 inches at shasta this week and i'm gonna try and tear up every inch of it:) should be plenty of doos and poos for traction... will post when i return!

Just HAD TO GO on Thursday afternoon so I headed out to Wanoga (ouside of Bend) and found proolly 4 inches down low but up towards Moon Mountain we found some (nearly) untracked stashes of up to a foot on top of a good firm base .

Teli-skied all day at Bachelor today and dragged the sled along for fun, took it out for an hour on the way home and was meadow surfing on 4-5" at dusk, enough to put a smile on my face... more to come so the weather man says.

awesome day!!! sitting here in the mt. shasta best western wishing i could get some sleep. pow pow pow, had a great day of boondocking and pow busting:) wish i could load my pics and post them for you guys but no luck from here, will do so when i get home tommorow. snow has set some so no 4 foot trenches all day but still plenty deep. never seen soooo many sleds rolled over to get unstuck in one day! was a blast, had that one less skilled rider today that gave his all and sure will remember this ride for a long time. tommorow will be a no prisoners day, i hope everyone is ready:)
