Running Stock Air Box without hood ducting?

Yes it does. The billit plate screws to the bulkhead and seals nicely to the boot.

does the filter have a serial number on it. Finally looked at the cpc web site, The price on that is ridiculous.

No serial number. it is a custom filter designed by cpc.

What is rediculous is the price of boxes like the Timbersled and Speedwerx. Timbersleds is two 35 dollar filters and aluminium plate. Speedwerx is a 100 dollar Snopro box and some screens.

The BDX is the best bang for the buck! at 169.00

one thing to think about, if you run hose in between the filter and T/B it needs to be stiff enough not to collapse,
I didn't like drilling the holes, but it's held up pretty well even after a good hit. QUOTE]

Do you think radiator hose would be stiff enough? I have also thought about running a hose off each throttle body into a Y and using one bigger filter that I already have. The other issue is to put the sensor. What does the sensor in the air box do? Is it necessary or could a guy just disconnect it without any issues.

Its a air temp sensor, you need it and needs to be in the intake, If you have stuff use it but bring the other stuff just incase it doesn't work, I would try to build and adapter like the cpc kit, if you had an old air box to cut up it would be easy.

you going to the boise snow show
