Run down on the 2010 mountain sleds!

Kinzer... you are a better rider than I think I'll ever be...

AND....

I've watched riders on all of the sleds do amazing things... Rasmussen, Kyle, Borchers,
Burandt, Sessions, Sherman, .... and more.

I think that at the top level, it is about seat time and what the setup is. All of the new sleds have top notch offerings that do something better than the other....

I dont know any of the above that have a "box stock" sled as thier primary ride.

I really appreciate seeing someone boondock in crazy situations the most.... These riders and many more continue to amaze me on all the sleds out there.

IMO, People are always second guessing if they have purchased the best "tool of the trade" weather that is a Ping vs. Callaway, Völkl vs Rossignol, Honda vs. Kawasaki, Ford vs. Dodge, Cat vs. Poo...

I keep hoping that there is a sled out there that will make me instantly be able to cling to the side of a steep tree'd line... or boondock without getting stuck... but it dont think it exists... I think it's about what you put time on.

Put Burandt or Rasmussen on ANY sled (besides their normal Cat) and they will probably school 95% of the riders out there... But they won't ride as well as they do on a Cat. Put Borchers or Kyle on anyting besides a Doo and THEY will school 95% of the riders out there...But they won't ride as well they do on their XP's

IMO, Ride what you got... upgrade it if it is worn out.... dial it in for YOU.... get used to how it feels and rides... There is NO magic potion for that.... or peice of equipment that is going to replace countless hours of honing your technique... And don't let a sponsored ELITE level rider tell you what you need to ride.

Now... back to our regularly scheduled program..... MH

I'll take a serious look at Cat when they come out with a new chassis....sorry, but it's hard to get excited when they are still polishing up old stuff AND asking the most money for them....

i agree.13k for a 1000 with a 05 chassis.thats nuts

Exactly....if they're going to continue recycling that chassis, it should at least be in-line with the pricing from the other 2.

The poo chasis came out in the same year(05).

Thats like saying that the 900 poo and the dragon are on diferent chassis. Its the same but has been updated. Just like the M-7 to the new '10 M8!

X2. It never ceases to amaze me when these threads pop up.

ppppfffttt... If Doo would just bring back the ZX chassis and throw a 670 motor in it nothing would run along side of it!:)

But on a serious note, everyone complains about reliablility, don't think you would find a much more bulletproof sled! Although it will try and kill you if you ride fast down the trail.

Trailing arms rule!
