What about a swap meet? I have some cat parts that might help the Doo guys out...... seriously though, who doesn't love a good sled part garage sale. Mike would be "Costco".

Is there a $50.0 membership (cover charge) to enter his garage??

Or does he have a tippy cup consumables wanted jar on the work bench??:face-icon-small-ton

I could use the extra weight provided my the cat parts for traction.hehehe.

yes my garage is full, this yr it is mostly complete sleds though. I will be having a sale on clutches this yr

Allright, I have a question. Since I got my Pro last October, I have at least one ride every month since then (November thru August). Although, the August ride was kind of lame, it was 10 miles in the snow. So my question is, if I were to race at the grass drags, would that qualify for a ride? It wouldn't be on snow, but it is riding. Well, if that's a ride, why couldn't I just ride around in my pasture, instead?

Ahhh....the good ol days....reminds me of getting our asses kicked by the Arlington Saw Shop high $$$ Polaris Indy 600's back in the eighties with our little 521 Rotax's. Talk about heat fade...

They ruled on grass, but we ruled on snow. Until they spent even more money.

is there a snowbike class?

Not currently a class but how about some exhibition runs for the crowd? or, you get at least 6 guys there on snow bikes and I'll create a class on the spot?

Still waiting on Ted to finish the info poster for you guys:face-icon-small-fro.....

Lynn, swap meet and vendors are on the plan for the next event-we've gotta get throught this one first!

We are also looking for 4 more really quick quads to do some exhibition passes if you know anyone, get them in touch with me please.

mentioned it this weekend at coos bay, could have some but traction on grass is going to be a big problem, steve and willie had there turbo nitro quad down there and that thing is very impressive..

We will be there with our Quads, big thanks to Curt for getting this going. We need more races like this to help our sport!

Give 'em a sandpit to launch out of

Yep, Willie and I had already talked-Still working on the Roosterbilt boys...anyone else? yes traction will be limited...thats why they are "exhibition" runs---spin the tires, make a bunch of noise and wow the crowd!

Devol just finished a huge labor day MX event which is why we don't have our "official" info poster yet so here are a few more set in stone details:

there WILL be a water truck on the grounds but you must supply your own cool down set up---we want to avoid hosing sleds down all day as it creates a massive muddy mess.

If you've never built a cool down set up, its really simple and we are happy to show you how-just call, e-mail, pm whatever and we'll help you through it. A simple trash can or cooler full of cold water/ice, a couple of short hoses and a cheap Walmart boat bilge pump ran by a car battery is all it takes--you can get fancier from there if you desire! Even blocks/bags of ice to set on the head and tunnel can be very effective!

Entry fees have been set at $30.00 per class and everyone pays a $5.00 per head gate entry fee (racers included).

The track is in the South lot of the fairground.

Sign up will be Friday night 6-8 p.m. or Saturday morning 7-9 a.m.

Please try to sign up Friday night if you can so we can get you inspected and tech'd early on Saturday!

Fee payments must be cash or check-no credit or debit cards!

I'm told now the official info poster will be done Thursday...

feel free to call if any other questions!
