RTR weights, Axys, T3 174, LTD cat, mod cat

Ti can on the Axys drops almost 17 lbs.

Yes, you can get close to the Axys for another $2000, but if you spend that on the Axys too, you will still be 40 lbs behind.

Don't forget all the standard beefed up items the Poo needs like both bumpers, extra wheels, extra coolers and probably A arms since they bend like spaghetti

You are Totally right. Oops my bad. Good catch. That is of a 2014 stock sno pro 153.

Here is the correct pic for the 2016 LTD 153 cat.

Thanks Madmax, like I said wasn't trying to nit pick, just wondering if I was losing my mind! haha

So are the Poos heavy on fuels when RTR?

Juse seems like there isn't as much difference all topper up ready to go as the hype suggests.

In the end, actual performance and product longevity is what the main factor. Paper numbers is just something to argue about

For $850 I can do a pipe/can/clutch set up that should give it 170 hp while dropping 15 lbs. Beyond that the smart money is on a turbo. For less than you have into the mod cat I can have a turbo Axys with less weight and more power on the mountain.

I happen to recall that the only two sleds I have seen towed out in the last few years have been Cats, one of them your brand new one Dave. We haven't had to tow out a Poo, nor have I needed extra bumpers bracing or any of that other BS.

You guys are almost in as much denial as the Yammi guys.... enjoy!

Seems to me that Polaris is saying their 1: Stronger 2: Lighter and 3: Cheaper. In my eyes you can have two of said three, but not all three.

Too say that the AXYS is as rigid as the Cat chassis you're in clear denial. Don't forget the bombers you'll need to replace the very-slight stock poo rails. I couldn't decide which to spring order and ended up with the LTD Cat, best friend went with an AXYS. Time will tell if either will regret their decision.

Main reasoning for the Cat was service at the local dealer, but as well the proven 800, and tough chassis. People worry so much about weight, but most could shed fat off themselves and add muscle mass then weight becomes much less of a concern.

At the end of the day buy what you like, or whoever treats you best and go ride the hell out of it with a grin on your face. If all a person does is piss on other brands, those people are no fun to ride with.

wrong, your Poo had a reinforced bumper and you were still scared to pull me, I even bought you a brand new Cat belt for your trouble, and it wasn't a brand new Cat, it was almost the last ride of the year, had 1500 miles on it and wire fell off stator, 16 new Cats in 17 years, 2 brake downs ever, chain case on a 2004 and stator wire on the 2014

Karma is a bitch dude
