My GF and I allowed someone to move in with us for a short term deal. She was a single mom and needed a place so we didn't have a problem helping her out. 3 months after she left hawaii to try to keep her daughter from the father (I work with the guy, and he isn't a bad person or anything, she just wanted to hurt him for breaking things off) Anyways, 3 months later we still have 1/2 her crap in the garage, and we are moving. We sold some of the things for her, like she asked us to when she left, but the rest we ask her to have someone come get it since we are moving. the LAST day we are in the house and trying to clean before we close up, a 65 year old woman shows up in a little SUV to move everything.
Long story short, we spend 5 hours moving her crap to a storage unit, AND she is now telling us that we had no right to sell the things she told us to sell for her because she wants everything back....all because the courts ordered her back to HI for the custody battle over her kid.
On a different note, back when I lived in vegas I had a roommate that shared my room with me. I worked nights so she and I weren't in the room at the same time too often, but it had its occasional benefits.
