wish i coulda been up there yesterday to see the 2010s in person but couldn't get outta workin, gotta pay the bills. sounds like it woulda been a blast though. oh well its probably a good thing i didn't go though cuz then i'd wanna buy one and i don't think i could afford that. maybe some day, but until then the ol' 7 will have to keep doin the job.

oh yah, agree with akhockey thats one sweet lookin cooler setup.

I'll check my PM's Chris for that invite on the demo ride. Wish iwas there so i could jump on one. need a new sled and want to ride them all to make a choice. Good to hear they are performing though. I WANT ONE!!:(

Hector I didn't know how many ppl they wanted coming it wasn't even for sure I was going till the night before cause I didn't have a sled. I was very lucky to be one of the guys to ride the sled from the parking lot and the whole day. When we got to hills we'd all share sometimes I didn't share as much as I shouldve but there were 3 others ;) hector just buy a 10' if your looking for a new one. Take my word!!!!

My current sled is a polaris, but next week I'll be snowchecking the M8 SP, I can't wait, it's going to be a long summer.

My current sled last year was a Polaris, bought a used 08 M8 on the cheap and put some $ into it. My buds bought new doo's and polaris's, I am very happy with my 08 M8. Oh and it only gets better for 2009 and I expect waay better for 2010. What are you waiting for?

Hector, i have an 09 HCR i will make you a great deal on! :D

I love hereing these posts. makes me more excited that I snowchecked a 2010 as well. I was not able to ride the 2010 sled But i told myself last year if Cat makes 4 more horses than the 09 Thats the sled I'm snowchecking. Well they did more then that!

How tall are some of you guys that have rode the 2010 with the new seat. My wife is about 5'4" and am wondering if that seat would work for her on her M7. She Thought the Cat boss seat didn't work for her all that well. But if the new seat fits her, thats where the $300 cat cash is going.

Good to hear Brant :) I think ill just purchase in the fall. But definitely '10 M8 162" SP fo shizzz

My wife is 5'2", rides an 08 M8 with a Boss Highrise Flat top seat and loves it. She has no problem throwing a leg over the seat, and likes the narrower top. The new seat isn't any taller... so I'd say order the seat. Just my 2 cents.

I am 6'0"-6'1"ish. I felt pretty comfortable

man that is a shallow helix...unless you are running super heavy weights, you could pull a lot more helix and take advantage of the torque.........02

Rode a 2010 M8 153 SP thursday with Darren the Cranbrook BC AC dealer. I can honestly say I was more then impressed with this new little cat.The first thing you notice is the throttle response.....its sooooo frigg'n snappy! After 5 years of turbo Yamaha's, this year I stepped way back and have been riding a 07 m8 with slp and bd nitrous and have been really happy with the dependability of this little sled....not so much the power. For a bone stock sled the 2010 really goes! I lined up against a stock 08 Dragon up a 600' fairly steep hill with spring sticky snow like conditions. The m8 smoked it off the line and in 5 races the closest it got was maybe 6-7 sled lengths but often 10 or more. I wish we would have had a m1000 to race but no such luck.
I thought I was sold till I rode Darrens (the Cranbrook AC dealer) BD pump gas 09 m8 153. It didn't have that 2010 snap but I could not believe how well it went and how little lag it had. We were running 8lbs of boost with just straight pump gast at 6-7000'. Maybe I forget how well my T-RX, t-apex or my T-nytro went but I'm sure I'd have to run 14lb's of boost to go as good as this thing running at 8 1/2lb's.
I went on this ride to try make up my mind between a 09 with a pump gas kit or a snowcheck 2010 stocker, but am now more undecided then ever!
Cheers! :beer;
