Rode out of Avalanche (Moved from Mountain/Powder)

i'am glad you made it but i can see what you and your friends ate for breakfest. a big bowl of stupid

Springtime conditions in January can sure give you a false sense of security. I like the way you let your buddy run out before you hit the hill. If you would have lost your cool you may have been a statistic. I'm glad you posted this video. There's alot of zeros out there that are pretty quick to ridicule. Every snowester needs to watch this video. Thanks again for the posting, it was your lucky day, everyone needs one now and then.

I am moving back to the snow and next year I plan on being on sled. I have a lot ot learn and appreicate any help. I realize I need to take an avy course but can anyone name some of things the guy could have changed.

Maybe instead of telling him he is stupid you all can help him and us all learn. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

hmmmm, slide, rode it out , had a camera, check out youtube, perhaps hoping for some good footage, hmmmm, makes me wonder.

Incredible piece of footage. With 33+ dead this year, I wonder why anyone would take such a risk knowing the well publicized conditions. Glad you made it out in one piece. That's probably your one "gimme". I don't think you'll get that lucky next time. I'm really glad that your family isn't watching that without you. I'm glad you lived to ride another day. Wow!

I'll climb on 2000lb buckin bulls no problem, but avys scare the crap out of me. ?

hey you and me both glad to see some one else whe has the same two passions as me watchen PBR right now to speak of it.

you can take every percaution in the world but somtimes things just happen so instead of calling him an idiot how about give him on some tips to access the snowpack. there is always an avy risk unless u ride flat only which then you would have no say at all

around where i live they were saying high chances of avy's all year so far, so what am i never supposed to ride anymore...theres always that risk so just days its higher then others and thats the ones where the flat meadows look the best

i'am glad you made it but i can see what you and your friends ate for breakfest. a big bowl of stupid

Because Blu Du spends all of his time in the mountains he can call you stupid. If you ride the in the mountains long enough you are going to see this kind of stuff. This guy is real lucky but not stupid maybe he can use better judgement next time. We people that ride the mountains all of the time can't always tell what is safe and what isn't.

You're really lucky to be sitting there afterward laughing about it. Whew. Ya dodged one there. Conditions were ripe, eh?

Wow what a blast

Obviously you are unaware of the dangers out there....

You laugh in the video like it was a thrill, like it was something you can brag to your buddies at the pub this evening.

Educate yourself/:mad:

Thanks for posting the video.........glad you made it out, but I have to say that wasn't very bright of you to even be in there, never mind climbing that hill..........hope you learned a lesson

When that snow broke I wanted to puke..... I am glad you made it !!!! and I thank you for the education that I recieved from that video
