Anyone know what RPM's I should be shooting for with the drop-in kit for peak HP?
2012 Pro with a stock pipe.

Kelsey likes them to run 8400-8500 but I think anywhere from 8250-8400 is what I like best I clutched for 8200-8300 in the pow and 8400 on the trail clutching for 8500 is tough, you hit the limiter all the time

Good to know; I've clutched for 7900-8000 RPM in the pow. Sounds like I have some more to gain by losing some weight on my primary.

Tinker,
When you hit the rev limiter does it cut out until you back off the throttle and get back on it or does it continue to bounce off it till you let off?

Thanks, that must of been what I had happen a few times today.
Another ?
In the BD box when you go to the stats hit sel a few times and you end up on a screen that has max rpm and DC in and DC out... Are these some sort of air fuel ratio #s and if so what do you want them #s to be? Cant find anything about it in my instructions.

I am not sure what the dc in dc out is ether but the max rpm is what it sees you can check that to see what your max is that will help you decide if your hitting the rev limiter I saw on my gauge 8600 yesterday without hitting the limiter but hit it when seeing only 8450 also the gauge on the sled sometimes is too slow to react this engine revs soo fast. just make sure you scroll over and clear it every time so you see the max of each time you check it, if that makes sence to you
