MY sled has had
ZERO tuning !.. In fact it is even on its original belt!
It has:
1)
STOCK CLUTCHING... No clutching changes.
2)
STOCK EXHAUST!
3)
NO FUEL CONTROL BOX
4)
Gear Change ONLY!
5)
PUMP GAS from the Preston ID Gas station
I am running this "bare bones" kit to show what can be done for a very good price (under $1900) with NO ADDED components other than the RK Tek Big Bore conversion.
Is there more performance to be had?? You Bet... We will have that option available as well.. but, the current configuration has
NO TUNING from
STOCK!
So, while you negativity is always appreciated... This ETEC is not modified in any way other than the big bore.. and truth be known.. the PTEK engine DOES make more power than the ETEC..
I suspect the Full Mod SHR 880 PTEK will be the highmark on the hill once they find out who will climb the hill in front of them..
We are not here to RACE across the flats or race uphill,
TRUE HP and performance is about
MAINTAINING the available Power in the LONG and LOADED pull.. So, this is how we will compare.
All these little 5 sec WOT at peak RPM dyno runs mean very little.. You have to be able to sustain the HP inthe 1 minute + pull...
So, highmarks will be the food of choice...
Should be a good time...
