Riding out of Afton??? Please help

Looking to ride out of alpine a few days. Then looking to stay a bit south for a few more days to access some different terrain. Where is a good place to stay around Afton that is easily accessible to some good riding areas? Can you ride right out of Afton?? Any advice would be appreciated.

We have always stayed at the bull moose. From there you can ride to the trail at grays river which takes 2 mins. You could always leave there go to Box Y Ranch for a night. Or go over the hill towards soda springs, ID.

There is good riding out of Afton. I havent been over there for a long time tho so I can't really remember what you are looking at. We dont make it past Alpine too often.

When riding the alpine area do most go through the greys river area up to murphys lake or where would be the best snow. I ride mostly in east idaho and spend time in indian creek but i would like to ride more in the Alpine area.
