Riding in OR or WA mid-March

I'm coming to Portland Oregon March 12-18 from MN to visit my brother. Since I typically go riding out west (own a M7) I would like to go in Oregon. I want to rent a sled and hopefully hook up with some locals to do some boondocking and hillclimbing. I'm flying in and renting a Pontiac G6 (might change to an SUV if I need a tow vehicle), so this might be tough to pull off. I am willing to travel a couple hours from Portland to go riding, in either Oregon or Washington.

So I am looking for recommendations on where to rent sleds and if anyone would be willing to go for a ride. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

If your willing to make the trip to Bend, about 2 1/2 hours I'd be glad to take you out. Might even be able to save you sled rental. (Wifes M7) if I can talk her out of it for a day. If not there's rental places here. Let me know.

Powhound my be your best bet , Bend is about the only place I know of to rent sleds if you cant borrow one, I would offer you my extra but I am 4 hrs away maybe too far
