RH powder bog ?!

Could it be wires rubbing? Something sticking, like powervalves/cables, oil injection.
I only have 150miles but my sled rips, no bogs ever. (Knock on wood)

I have 313 miles on mine and I have not had any issues. It does throw a code (P0327) every once and a while but it hasn't affected the performance.

After I sealed up the intake, I havent had any issues and I was in pretty deep pow all last week. Every once in a while down in the lower rpm I have experienced a minor bog. I think i had that with the suzuki 800 as well. I was actually getting worried about the amount of snow I ingested before I sealedup the intake because I know it ate quite a bit one day. Maybe ecu related? I thought I remember reading about some people getting a reflash as part of a recall or dealer bulletin. I don't know but I know after sealing up the intake mine has been running good.

Same issue with my sled. I tried sealing the lower intake with silicone and upper by goggle bag like everyone suggested with black tape. Sled is still bogging bad and not just in powder. Even did it on the flats a few days ago.

I have roughly 175 miles and it is out of break in mode. not sure what to do anymore... Any ideas?

I have heard of a sled that burnt down from this issue this year with snow in the intake...

Leeindubois maybe you and Sleddogg could try checking and/or adjusting your power valve cables to see if that helps. I checked mine before I rode the sled at all and they where out of spec and I had to adjust them. I can't say that will help but I have zero bogging issues after I taped my upper vents. I had very minimal bogging issues before I taped the vents but never really had it in deep snow before hand. I am well out of both stages of break in mode now but even when in break in mode I didn't have bogging issues like it sounds you guys are having.

Another issue I noticed when adjusting my power valve cables was the electrical harness is very close to the power valve actuator and I believe it could very easily get pushed into, or get in the way of, the power valve actuator and keep it from functioning properly.

I rode 3 feet of blower pow yesterday and no bogging issues. I did seal everything I could on the air box and intakes though. Sled is unreal!!

how many guys are running after market Cans compared to stock can just curious?

My dealer had a stock can on when he was bogging like crazy without the intake fixed. Then we taped it up on the mtn and it worked a lot better. Mine had diamond S can and wasn't bogging with the intake fixed same day.

Mine was bogging not just from the intake early season though. I had to cut down my diamond S can about 3/4" to get it out of the snow more and behind the deflector better. I also adjusted my PV cables a month or so ago cause they were way out of spec. I think doing both these along with the sealing of the intake is what has really helped keep mine from bogging as much.

What is the power valve adjustment specs on the new motor?

I want to say 36.5mm. It's in the owners manual. Mine were at around 34.5mm before I adjusted them.

The correct exposed cable length is 36.5mm + or - 1mm

Thanks,
Woody

Mine where out of spec and also mis matched from each other. Makes sure when measuring and adjusting them that you have them routed somewhat close to where they will mount to the servo. Adjust each cable to 36.5mm + or - 1mm and makes sure the cables are adjusted within .5mm of each other. I get them as close to 36.5mm and matched as close as possible.

Pulled hood off tonight. Thoughts? Running rich as hell and moisture?

Could it be the computer did not transition out of break in like it should have?

Hey guys. Bone stock 2018 sled rips no doubt, there are 3 of us that bought them we are all fighting real bad powder bogs on the right hand side especially if ur sidehilling thru the trees not super fast, dosent like to clear out either gotta get the pipe right out of the snow, anyone else dealing with this issue? Any fixes different can? Etc thx. All the sleds are off break in also .
You sucked in snow and now your pistons are scuffed.

The end is near.
