Rewinding stator

Does someone have the phone number for RM Stator or Stator corp. Those are the only ones that I have seen mentioned when it comes to having a stator rewound. I have bought a new one but I might as well send in the old one to have it as a back up.
Can I have one rewound to put out more power for my TM-7?

stator corp 508-478-5712 or 5700. 138 Blackstone St. Mendon Ma. 01756 $200 and 2 year warrenty. They are good people to deal with.

Good post Blain. What kind of shipping time have you seen to the states? Last thing I got out of Canada was shipped canadian post and it sat almost a full month in customs!

If you use Stator Kev be sure to expedite the shipping to him in any way possible. I just used regular mail from the post office. I mailed the stator Nov. 6 and Kev didn't get it until Dec 10th. He was very helpful and quick with responses when I emailed him. But, unfortunately shipping was so slow I ended up buying a stator off Ebay before mine was done - I'm still waiting for it to get done and returned as of today...:(

It looks like Kevin does quality work! As an alternative, you might want to check out this site:

Chris rebuilds the electric motors that rotate the headlights on the '66-'67 Chargers. (of which I used to own 4- inclucing a numbers matching Hemi 4 speed) He does quality work and almost everyone from our Charger site has had their motors rebuilt by Chris. He can/will rebuild most any motor. Check out his site & give him a shout.

Kevin is in Canada and I am in Michigan. I was afraid when I posted this people would think that I was Kevin that is why I am posting this...to clarify. I have held off on putting up my web site for now. I instead post on forums, made the videos (in my signature) and put them on youtube to help with questions/diagnosing. I quote my turn around time @ 5 days but usually I can get them out in 2-3 days depending on how busy I am. I charge $150 and give a 2 year warrenty.

With people blowing up their underwear on planes boarder security will probably only get worse.

Define more power. If you mean stator ignition, not really. If you mean Power/Lighting output....I don't know on the M7. If all of your posts are already being used (are wound) then you would be hard pressed to get much if any more power out of it rewinding it with other gauge wire. The stators that you can get "more power" out of usually have a free post and it can be used to wind one more coil and be used for additional power. I mainly concentrate on the ignition coils. You may have to look at aftermarket stators, battery systems ect...for additional power sources.

Well I don't know about anyone else but I am looking for more power/lighting output. My 06 M-7 has 12 posts and one is unwound. The unwound post has the main wire harness wire tied to it. It is the same size and shape as the rest of the posts so I don't know if that was just a easy spot to hold down the wires or if that post has to be kept unwound for that purpose.(I know nothing) So if that post could be wound for more DC power that would be good news for all us M-7 turbo guys.

I am looking for more power to the fuel pump so I can run a larger one. the current coil only has enough to support the stock pump. I also wanted to know if the empty post could be wound. What makes the coil produce more power? does the size of the post and the wire wrapped around it increase the power output? I looked at the newer stators for the 2007 and newer sleds and they look the same but they produce more power....how??...thanks

As far as I know the M-7 had part A\C and part D\C electrical so the M-8 stator would not work. No one has really explained how it all works, but all I know is that I still need to use my little battery when it's cold.

do you still have the stock fuel pump? are you using the battery for an air/fuel guage?
