Revy avalanche

my condolences to everyone involved. definitely a life changing event for everyone in the hillclimbing world. I am truly speechless, something just told me to look on snowest and saw this and my heart just dropped.

Just watched the news . they say only 3 deceased & several missing ... do any peeps up there know any truth or what's happening .... still in shock

Quay glad you and crew are all fine.

No one knows the number but I will say there are 2 trucks without drivers at the moment that should be shared with the group.......so that may eliminate a larger possibility of missing.......hats off to the Revy S&R crew. More in the am I'm sure.:heart::heart:

as all hearts are broken with this traggic event...... This is an event that could happen to anyone snowmobilers and skier I hope the that all sides come together to grieve and support one another.... the Mayor response to being an unsantioned event.... well if it was a sking tragidy the sledding community are skiers too.... and this traggidy would be worse if it would be used as an attach on the group affected to damn the sport.....we all face mother nature sledders surfers skiers snowboards hikers mountain climbers anyone who temps nature know that she has the last word indefinatly.....

politics should be boycotted from this issue!!!!!!! this is a loss and if handled right should progress and educate in a way to help the sport and the people who live it.......

My wife and I have lit a candle for the fallen. To the people left behind that have lost their loved ones please know that there are thousnds of people out here that will help and support you any way we can. To the SNR people, a thank you from the heart, this day will be one of the most difficult you will ever face, may God bless you for stepping up and helping so many. This was an Act of God, an avalanche, it's happened and no one can change that now. I've sat at this keyboard alot tonight and turned it off a dozen times, who knows what to say to a disaster like this??

Prayers and sincere condolences from Terry, Keeley and Jay Dancey

It seems to me that as many people that have posted on here that they were supposed to be there and had problems so they couldn't get there, or left because of a bad feeling, there ought to be a lot of graditude and prayers of thanks. As bad as it is it maybe could have been even worse. Should make some of us believe in devine intervention and be grateful for it.
