Revelstoke 2012 - 13

Got on snowandmud and it looked like a few guys rode frisby yesterday. 10" of fresh on top of an icy base. Heading there next Thurs. Someone do a snow dance please!

i think all the regulars who post aren't posting anything because of the enormously huge amounts of snow that have fallen and they don't wanna give it up....maybe....i hope.... i wanna....please!!:face-icon-small-dis

I would hope so, but looking at highway cams, I don't think so. Ski resort only shows about 27"

Your not helping with my enthusiasm. Lol.... sounds like a lil more snow at the frisby cabin(100cm). Think we are Goin anyway. I guess bad snow is still better then a good day of workin'

We have received about 6" of snow overnight, heavy and slushy in town. Should have been a good dump up top!

Have had to throw snowballs at my satelite dish already. haha

Cheers

LOVE that type of snowstorm. LOL

Thanks for the update Ron. It looks like we are coming up there on Dec 14th-17th. I think Jake wants to get a few more apex parts too. I'd like to see the apex pro's run, if your gonna be around that weekend?

I took this on Frisby on Thursday Nov 15 when the fog cleared for a minute!

Back from Revy..

Rode Frisby on Friday and Boulder Mtn yesterday. Both days where filled with fog with yesterday being worse and even a little snow fall. For our first time there I wasn't impressed with the amount of snow yet at Boulder, especially near the Cabin. But Frisby was sweet. No stumps or creeks showing. Wish we would have went back to Frisby on Saturday. Too many people at Boulder too. Plenty of snow up above the cabin at Boulder but too socked in to see 10ft in front of you.

Just our observations. But I'm sure others there thought it was great. I heard that alot from people there. Give it a week or two, with the next storm coming through the snow will be even better.

We went up Frisby today in the fog with our snow bikes and dropped down into the fire pit in Deadmans Creek and found knee deep or more fresh. So at least 3 feet of fresh since Friday.

Rode frisby Friday. Fog was bad at times but the snow was good. Definitely worth the 8 hour drive. Raining buckets in revy sat. Night so I'm sure the mountains got hammered.

Looks like Revy is going to get a nice Dump this week. I was planning on going to Frisby this Saturday. Just wondering if anyone could let me know, is there enough snow on the trial to ride up from the Parking lot or do you have to drive up a ways to unload. Appreciate the feed back Thanks!

Looks like the best place to ride this long weekend.... Excited to get the sleds out even if its a "mild" ride weekend... How's the coverage?

We drove up to about the 3k mark and unloaded last Friday. May have changed since then but it was really thin at the lot
